It seems that the moment Joel Dies the story just fucking falls apart and becomes a bunch of random shit on the path to the Abby vs Ellie confrontation that doesnt matter, followed by a rushed epilogue that introduces an entire new group of villains simply to serve the purpose of having a level happen. Ellie shouldve just found Abby crucified on the beach by some remaining Seraphites or something as some sort of revenge for Haven.

Its better than Zelestria is what I'm seeing as the universal opinion.

I feel like he's going to have one of those realizations when he wakes up tomorrow that the game was shit. I've done this myself many times where something seems "okay" immediately when it's over, but the awfulness dawns on me over the next several hours or days.
He is processing it, and very, VERY clearly leaning towards "I dislike the game", but hasn't yet had the time to let it percolate in his brain enough. he is also sleep deprived, meaning that process is slower.

So what this game is establishing is that the first games subtext of the fireflies being incompetent and desperate to regain legitimacy after getting punted back to their last base of operations to the point they would potentially risk losing the cure for humanity is actually just a massive plot hole in the first that the writers want to actively refuse to confront. The fireflies were the gud guiz people tommy's peaceful town bad!

why Abby's zebrafucker dad was the only one who could make the vaccine? How did they know the vaccine even work? Drama for the sake of plot convenience

Happened to me with TFA, can confirm.

How long was xqc's playthrough? I only saw his stream posted in here a few hours ago at earliest, but he might have been going longer than that, but I'm curious if the game is REALLY that short.
he basically speedran through the entire game skipped multiple combat scenarios. He completed the game in like like 15-16 hours and apparently the game played completely is like around 30 hours?

Oh yea Xqc has a chess tournament to participate in tomorrow, and he's been awake for the past 40 hours just so he could play this as soon as it came out. fucking lol

Edit: He put all his energy in the first game and won, but quickly lost twice after that

It's very telling that I've already burnt myself out on tlou2 and even caught myself saying "these retards are still posting these old as fuck memes" when the game isn't even out yet.

And you can kill the Mary Sue character in it.
