I imagine a highly plotted trilogy detailing how he went from likable hero mirroring familiar characters but slowly losing his own soul and justification for his actions (ironically in a better less pretentious story than his own games)

Sex scenes are allowed in M rated games as long as it isn't showing too much of the pinis and vagana. Standards have changed a lot since the Hit Coffee days.

Those were the designs Capcom wanted. Early concept art showed a Dante that was pretty faithful to the original.

Capcom rejected anything resembling the core games. The way Ninja Theory treated angry fans was immature, of course. Tameem seems to have calmed down since then and even improved as a writer. Hellblade was pretty good.
