I agree there should have been SOME outrage about it and demands for justice, but I think there comes a point where this shitshow isn't even their fault since while their actions were unprofessional and unwarranted, I don't even think they thought the backlash against them would be this extreme. It's not justification of their actions in hindsight versus just saying that they were more of a unknowing catalyst for this chemical reaction. The materials needed to start it were there for a long ass time.

Likely they've been ordered to hold their ground and keep them contained in an area to reduce the amount of damage their looting will do. If they give chase and start putting boot to neck, the cockroaches will scatter and spread the damage.

The fucker ran out waving his arm to the helicopter's camera. If the guy lost control he'd have been squished at 100+mph.

They were trying to replace him a while ago (rumors had it by someone in Shapiro's sphere or even Shapiro himself), but he managed to fight it off. Not sure how aside from having amazing ratings that I believe are trending up.
