You know a good strategy for law enforcement might be to comb through footage of the riots and arrest people present for them while they’re sleeping off a night of shootin and lootin today. Not a lawyer but I assume if you have footage of a man committing arson, you can get an arrest warrant for arson pretty quickly.
 
I don’t know if I’m late because the thread is going really fast, but how is #BlackLivesMatter relevant in New Zealand? I can only imagine a few Aboriginal Australians, but otherwise the police department there is pretty nice.

Was it police brutality? Yes. After multiple nights of looting and riots, do i care? No. In fact i would like to see a little more of the police kicking the shit out of looters. Give them a little taste of real authoritarianism / fascism and see how quickly everybody wants to disperse and go back to the past.
