Imagine being a small town cop, who dreamed of joining the force since he was a little boy, who never wanted to do anything but protect his community and keep people safe. Now he's getting spit on and screamed at by 25 year olds over something one hothead officer fucked up.

Should have removed them and put them under protection, better chances of survival.
I know museums (like the daughters of the confederacy) aren't immune but it significant ups their chances of being preserved. However since most of them aren't even 100 years old (many were from the 60's) its not as devastating.

Jane Fonda on CNN. She's saying that it took her a while to learn about the impact of racism but that ppl gotta know about the reality. She's right tbh. They don't teach enough about it in school. If they do its really only lightly glossed over, no meat and potatoes.

We didn't learn shit about Angela Davis for example. They make you read Malcolm X book and that's it.

The Twitter feed's been a fucking mess these past few days. The most aggravating thing to see has been people trying to dismiss how severe the rioting and looting have been by claiming that only a single Target store has been affected. If you even try to bring up the number of stores destroyed or how many minority business owners are now ruined, they either ignore you, create strawmen or call you a fascist/bootlicker.
 
I'm getting reports of riots in CWCville, multiple fires spotted at least three flaming bricks thrown through the mayors window. I'll keep you all updated if I can but the army is cracking down hard!
