The National Guard in Minneapolis have been told by the state to find ways to let people protest without using too much force to control them, so I imagine they'll sort of herd the protest till they get tired/bored and go home.

It's interesting comparing Atlanta and other areas riot police tactics vs Minnesota's - I'ld say the other states are more effective so far considering everyone's ignoring that "curfew".

why is so little tear gas being used?
and why are there no water cannons? do american cops not use those? they're the go-to riot control tool in parts of europe, and they work really well against uppity crowds
