Something to keep in mind is that the longer the rioting, looting and burning drags on the drier the well of sympathy for black people unfairly hurt by police will get. Long term ramifications of this might include but are certainly not limited to things like Black Lives Matter losing any pull it might have had with anyone lighter than a brown paper bag, people in general getting so weary of the bleating from blacks about victimization and racism that the pendulum starts swinging in the other direction, and people rationalizing police brutality directed towards black people as ultimately being acceptable and even desirable.

I'm sure the far-left talking point of "Riots are the voice of the oppressed, without riots there would be no civil rights", will continue to convince everybody /sneed.
