For the record, Greer, in a way to try getting over his Taylor Swift pain, reached out to other celebrities he admired, doing gifts that were frankly much better than the Swift gift, and he never sued or did anything outlandish for those celebrities to notice him because no representation of helping others or commercially saying they like underdogs was ever given for Greer to rely upon, and so Greer took the risk of investing and didn't feel his investments were worth fighting for because there was no reliance or given representations like the ones Swift gave. And for all he knows, the Swift incident could have scared the others off, which is not a presumption because Greer had been talking to a publicist for a major celebrity and then the publicist vanished. The fact that Greer has not sued any of those celebrities should solidify his reliance arguments as sincere, and therefore, reliance establishes causation.

So is he just memory-holing his lolsuits against Ariana Grande and Farrah Abraham? Also I just have to marvel at the incomprehensibility of this paragraph. In fact this entire filing is just mind-boggingly nonsensical. It's kind of a shame that Russ will still fail to serve Taylor Swift properly and we won't get to see his arguments taken apart. But I am a mere layman who doesn't even have a paralegal degree so perhaps Russ's legal genius is just not apparent to such a lowly simpleton like myself.

And I will never get over Russ's shitty photocopies that he enters in as exhibits:

Please tell me these court documents contain plights, shafted and WHAT SHE DID TO ME (I can't quite believe the simian twat is still using the word flatter as if it's something positive). We're so close to a full house on this round of Greer legal document bingo!

You just know he sat up all night, furiously hammering out the entirety of those "legal" documents in one rage-filled sitting. A grown adult human male, driving himself into utter insanity, losing all his friends, family and decent employment prospects, spending sleepless night after angry and unfulfilled sleepless night, all over trying to get a famous pop singer as a girlfriend. You couldn't write it as fiction, it'd be too ridiculous. Yet here we are. What a time to be alive.

We should start a betting pool on how the next process server will meet his demise. Mown down by an articulated truck, like the last one? Jumping in front of a train in despair at not being able to serve Swift? Or firebombed by Mexican gangsters driving a black Jetta?

Remember to bring a longer hdmi cable next time, Russ!

I love how he specifically points out he was told by multiple legal professors that his plan was unprofessional, weird, and destined to fail, but he went through with it anyway.

Also, each federal filing fee is $400, right?
So to get even this far, this is the second time he’s paid $400?

Holy godbear, 75 and 91 sent my sides to the edges of the galaxy.

Swift, as a public figure and an internationally, famous celebrity, has a right to publicity, which allows her to sway, entice, captivate, promote and make a profit off of her name, image and works. Memphis Development Foundation v. Factors Etc., Inc., 616 F.2d 956 (61h Cir. 1980)

This is literally the opposite outcome of the case...but my guess is these three words got his, metaphorical and literal, red rocket all hard. Always cum before filing briefs, kids.

91 -

Undoubtedly, Swift is aware of cyber bullying because she wrote a song about how "haters gonna hate, hate, hate" in her song, "Shake It Off. " But sometimes, haters don't just hate or say mean things. In Greer's case, they have ruined him: reputationally, emotionally, economically. Swift should have known that surely such representations would cause trauma and chaos.

No comment needed.

And he doesn't even realize that pointing that out makes him look extremely foolish. He might as well say "I'm smarter than everyone else therefore..." That's the statement he's making, even if he doesn't realize it.

I wonder if the judge passed this around the courthouse to his/her fellow judges for a laugh. I have no legal training whatsoever, and I can tell this thing is horrible. And again with blaming us for his actions. We didn't make him sue her or come up with bizarre, flawed legal arguments. I like how he acts like his lawsuits were inevitable, like he's fighting some crusade against people thwarting his efforts. I'm not sure if this can even be used at his criminal trial (if it goes that far), but it shows he ignores boundaries and expects special treatment, so that would be a good counter if he tried to argue that he wasn't intending to harass his victim, when his history shows he does exactly that even if he doesn't see it that way.

Yeah, instructors at his college, which people who went there said it didn't prepare them for a paralegal job, told him it was a bad idea and he would never be taken seriously in the paralegal field if he pursued it. He did it anyway and because he's too dense to understand cause and effect, he blames Swift for his own failures and the fallout from his bad behavior. He will never admit this.

We talked about this before - he doesn't have PTSD, he has a narcissistic injury because he didn't get his way.

I hope he gets to go to court again, I've missed his stupid shenanigans.

Also, I've missed him talking about the tightening of his head which is due to trauma and definitely is not a headache because all he eats is sugary shit.

Plight/s both as a word and as an overly detailed story of woe: Yes
Shafted as a word: No
Shafted as a concept: Yes
What She Made Me Do as a phrase: No
WSMMD as a concept: Yes

Additionally!
Says things she doesn't mean: Yes
She knows who I am: Yes
She dropped a song to cover it up: Yes
Other lawsuits against her are frivolous but not mine: Yes
Head Tightening: Yes, twice
Flattery: Yes (side note: what exactly does he think flattery is, since he thinks she would be flattered by his life story? What girl has ever heard a story about how someone ended up physically and mentally deformed and been like "OMG thank you!!! So nice of you to tell me this story!")

To a narcissist, denying them what they feel they are owed IS hurting them. That's why he perceives himself locked in an epic struggle with TS, she's evil because she hurt him, an innocent man, and it's up to him to stop her. In reality, of course she did nothing but Russ won't accept that. I would go so far as to say he CAN'T accept that, because it would sink his whole worldview.

Is there more info about his Mormon junior college in this thread? I know we have a bit of info from other students, but not that we know much about the actual school's quality.

According to a fellow student who knew him, the quality of instruction was very poor. She took her first legal job not knowing key things, but unlike Russ, she knew she needed to learn, so she did.

Given that he's filing this in the Middle District of Tennessee I wonder how he would actually appear. No lawyer will take this case even if he could afford one, he doesn't fly, can't drive and Amtrak doesn't serve Nashville. I guess there's always Greyhound, and he'd likely not even be the creepiest one on it. Though it could be moot with the ChiCom pandemic and he can just teleconference in.

Yeah, that's more or less what the article I linked said in the first few paragraphs. It said narcissists think they are owed special treatment, like Swift accepting his song although almost every serious creative professional - musicians, writers, anyone who has to come up with original material - will not accept any unsolicited materials because they could be liable for plagiarism.

One of Swift's employees left him a nice voice mail (there's a link to it buried somewhere in the thread) about why she couldn't accept unsolicited materials and that she wrote her own songs. The guy was as nice as he could be, Russ said he was mean-spirited, or some such nonsense.

In one of Rekieta's streams he had Nippleless Woman on, who knew Russ when he was in college (fun fact - she and a fellow student gave a homeless guy food to scare Russ from the women's dorms)

if memory serves.

- she earned two degrees in two years while it took Russ five years to complete his
-NW said she still had to play a lot of catch up when she got a job after college
-Russ said the college made the dubious claim that the paralegal program was like a year of law school (LOL no)
-I don't remember if Russ or NW said it, but they had to do a lot of religious stuff in their program, like make a contract with God - I don't remember which class it was in (I think Russ's was leaked - as he is now an atheist he broke the contract, LOL)

I don't work on the legal field and I'm not familiar with court document fillings etc etc, but I read the PDF and... sounds VERY unprofessional to me. The way he writes, the way he forces expressions, some words that he used... I dunno man, there's no way to take it seriously, even if he had a solid case with 99% chance of winning.

Regardless of the reason he is suing TS, I can't see any lawyer/judge worth their salt reading this mess and not throwing it immediately away only because the way Russ worded it. I'm not even talking about the subject, mind you, only the technical part of the writing. The readability is also terrible.

Yeah, it was difficult to read, both in cringe factor, and just in clarity of thought. Unless you're as familiar with him as we are, a lot of the things he brings up without context don't make sense.

Going back to the college: @NipplelessWoman said that rather than making Russ control himself, they just warned female students to be wary. I think it was NW who said that. I know he was such a pest to her and her friend(roommate?) they bribed a hobo to run interference for them.

I really, really love how he quotes lyrics from "Shake It Off" as if TS knew he was going to get cyber bullied for trying to sue her for no good reason, and that by penning it she some how misrepresents herself or something. It's a nice touch. I hope he successfully serves her. I want this so bad to go to trial. I can just imagine the verbal beat down he will get from TS's lawyer and the judge ruling the case, then Russ crying like a school girl with a skinned knee.

He's such a hypocrite for whining about cyberbullying when he's a massive bully when he doesn't get his way. Shit, he's facing charges for that very reason. Russ is like the kid who runs up to another kid, punches him, and then the other kid kicks his ass and Russ runs to the teacher to complain.

This whole thing is such an entertaining trip down memory lane. For so long we've speculated if he's capable of learning that this approach won't work. The fact that this is the third time and he's still making the exact same arguments proves not only that he hasn't learned anything, but also that he never will. I guarantee he's been playing these incidents over and over in his head for years, twisting them to make himself seem like some sort of downtrodden hero while everyone else are villains he has to defeat.

This is the part someone mentioned earlier about the release of the song.

He still thinks she released this song to "cover up the incident." This is one of my favorite Russ delusions, because it just makes no fucking sense in any capacity.

1. She didn't release the song, the movie studio or record label did.
2. This release date was decided on weeks or months prior, the release date has nothing to do with a small claims court lawsuit in Utah.
3. She doesn't have anything to cover up. The lawsuit was dropped for lack of jurisdiction. No one cares about Russell's lawsuit except him. What would she be covering up anyway? She was sued for the negligence of her agents. That wouldn't cause any outrage at all. Her career was never in any danger.
4. This doesn't prove that she knows about him at all, it just proves that she released the song a day after the trial.
5. Swift herself was totally absent from the public eye for most of 2016, she basically had all of her agents and managers running everything without her. She wouldn't have been told about something as minor as this.
6. Even if every other part of Russell's delusions are true, that Taylor Swift knew all about this and personally decided to release the song to cover up this lawsuit that she won or else she would have lost fans or had her career derailed or something, even if all of that were true (and none of it is,) Russell's biggest claim to fame is that he made her release a song that probably made her thousands of dollars richer.

He's very literal minded, and thinks if they call in a surprise drop, it's a surprise to everyone. Obviously, it's called that because it's a surprise to the public, it wasn't announced in advance like an album. Like you said the date was set weeks or months in advance. And I don't know why he's so fixated on proving she knows about him. So what if she does? She's allowed to decide who she associates with. Lots of people send her things and get nothing in return. She's no doubt been sent music too, and those people get told exactly what Russ was told, she can't accept it. He just doesn't understand how the world works, and he doesn't know he doesn't know that. If he actually manages to serve her, I hope this time he gets hit with court costs or some other penalty to discourage him from bothering the grown-ups.
