Thing is if he just flat out admitted to it all when it was unearthed in a manner like: "Yeah, im into some pretty weird shit. Who isnt? lol" then noone would have cared and he probably would've become more popular for it.

Like the subjects of most threads on this board though that isn't what happened. He's going great lengths to prove how "Not weird" he is and looking like a hypocritical idiot while doing so

Thought he actually argued that it was sex positive feminist character (as much as he and his wives that helped creating her could admit) . And the comic was succesfull with the intented audience regardless of the obvious connotations.

Makes you wonder how the recent SJW bitching about "fap and tits" actually blocks creativity and diversity.
 
Regarding when he was found out about his porn, his reaction was 'It's just a porn site, fuck off.', which is odd considering he once went on a tirade [on camera] that he isn't the type to say those words [implying it was how he built his public image], and he absolutely refused to discuss the part where it was about non-standard porn - as in, people were supposed to imagine he was just a guy playing a guy and what-not, not... that.
 
Has he commented about how having an extensive collection of fetishes (involving domination and/or humiliation) may contradict his stances about fictional characters getting sexualized or degraded?

Pretty sure that's the reason he reacted the way he did. Not trying to white-knight for the guy but I'm willing to bet him being a right-wing christian and a feminist creates some nasty guilt complexes that probably have done quite a bit of damage and help to keep him from just admitting what he likes and being able to accept that part of himself.

I actually feel kind of bad for him in all honesty.

He's got a lot of cognitive dissonance going on, yeah. But then again if he hadn't decided to take up the position of having the moral high ground, he could have people find this stuff out and not have to give a shit.

Last I checked they were. Just because the comic's been around since the 1950s doesn't necessarily make them legal to jack off to.

Then again, given the content of said porn folder. The shit he said in the past really came to bite him in the ass, didn't it? Seriously, once you've been found out that you jack it to the green M&M, you should never have another opinion again. EVER.

Oh yeah, it was there all right. Along with some other "goodies" too, like the Wendy's mascot and troll rape.

I don't think I can link the folder, but those are some of the highlights.

I discovered Nostalgia Critic via his crossover with AVGN. NC's video game review he did was amazing. Some of his other stuff was decent but now its so full of inside humor and inside crossover humor with the other people from that site I have no idea what the fuck is going on when I'm watching. I've tried watching other people from that site and its like pulling my own teeth. Its like work. Painful work.

I do love Lupa and The Nostalgia Chick though.
