I'd argue that a black woman and a white woman are much more biologically similar than a say a white woman and a white man.
Also many of us have mixed roots going back forever and could have any mix of ethnicities, most of us don't even know our own DNA history.
Trans racial almost makes more sense to me than transgender.

This might be more of deep-thoughts subforum comment, but I think we need to add a z-axis to the political compass for conformity-nonconformity to the Overton window. This is sometimes an edgyboi alt-right site, but it is distinctly nonconformist above anything else. Terfs would be left/maybe slightly authoritarian/strong nonconformist to Overton views, while liberal feminists are left/maybe slightly libertarian/strong conformist.

If I may be an armchair psychologist for a moment, I would bet money that poor girl was sexually abused and that's why she doesn't want a woman's body. Horrifying that so many people are suggesting she go down a path of self mutilation rather than seeking therapy.

I think it was this video (though I can't be sure because I haven't rewatched the whole thing) where four detransitioned FTMs answer a question from a parent who wanted to know whether there was anything they could do to hold off on their child's transition while also not alienating them.
The answers were not terribly encouraging - most everything their own parents had done had only deepened their conviction to bind/take hormones/have surgery - but there was one good suggestion: keep your kids BUSY. Send them to summer camp. Get them in athletics or debate club or some other after-school program. Take them fishing or hiking. Get them active in an activity they enjoy and thereby limit the time they spend online vs in the real world.
Cell phones are everywhere these days, which means that even if you don't give your kid a phone and watch them like a hawk when they use the computer you simply can't prevent them from being exposed to shit like this from their friends at school. Keep them as rooted in reality as you can by ensuring they don't have hours upon hours to sit alone in their room and read Tumblr.
