Just wait until the next Dem super-majority. If Trump gets to replace RBG then fully expect her replacement to be impeached, regardless of the merits.

Without a doubt it's noise but 1.5 million is 3* more then the bleach scandal or any of the insufferable lefty trends twitters had. It's more of a barometer that people are sick of this shit and we'll get four more years since it's stomping even the worst anti trump twitter trend into the ground. The glow in the darks aren't good enough to get that many even with bots.

Also I guess this is why barry disappeared from the public eye and has been so quite, he knew people would call him out.

edit: Actually went and checked on the tag, Trump spent a good hour retweeting anti obama post and got it trending and forced twitter into a position where they burry it and have to explain how they aren't biased or just let it go and hope it doesn't get to big. It wasn't a 4-D chess move but it was a pretty complicated checkers move.

In my circles Hong Kong has not been forgotten, there's just nothing to be done about it. British sold them out decades ago. What do you expect America to do? Invade?

Like the Soviets, the only solution is containment. Support Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Nam, and the Philliphines. Make it impossible for Chinese front companies to do business outside of their sphere of influence. Pressure Europe to pick a side, and end NATO if they pick the wrong one. Now, big optimism if that ever happens; but there's your roadmap. Hong Kong is a martyr and a warning, not something to save.

True, but I don't think we really have a word in English that encapsulates it. It's a drive as strong, emotional, and intellect-breaking.... almost a frantic need.

At the end of the day, the most dangerous idea person can have in their head is "I am a victim". It creates a fevered drive to commit atrocities.

It was true of many phases of Christianity, of the inter-war Germans, the peasant classes of Russia and China, Incel shooters, BLM, Charles Manson, neo-Nazi larpers, and the current SJW zeitgeist.

The Republicans in general serve the interests of Corporations. In general. The Democrats serve the interests of specific corporations.
This means the Republicans have to at least pay lipservice to fair play, why the Dems do whatever they can to target legislation but to be quiet about it: why should anyone get a free ride?
