Why would he do that?

Jim realizes everyone in IBS thinks he's a total sellout. NP2 nets him $500 tops (many pledges fail each month). After Montegraph, he makes no offensive content. He still has Patreon. He makes most of his money off Superchats anyways. He'd be very able to use something like SubscribeStar if Patreon did drop him. His content is not really any grittier than Sargon's at this point.

Problem: People don't respect Jim and anyone associated with NP2 is getting heat for being on the platform at the moment.
Solution: Drop NP2, virtue signal about it, win the IBS crowd back and lose literally nothing in the process.

The point about needing to be Dick's buddy is a legitimate one. If Dick had a Maddox style feud with someone, would they still be allowed to keep their np2? Maybe, maybe not but there definitely seems to be a conflict of interest in regards to maintaining good relations with Dick
