Xenomorphs are Cute,

Hello, it's the artist of the post. I would like to kindly ask if you can take down the post of my art.
I didn't consent for the art to be posted beyond the initial post, and since then have asked the original poster to delete the art.

I myself am not involved with this KickVic situation and would happily like to not get involved with the argument.
And to inform you I have made a statement about the post. I have now implemented a "No Hate Art" policy.

Please refrain from calling me anything so rudely as I was simply trying to earn money during these hard times.
I'm coming to you in a calm and professional manner to please take down the art and post.

I myself don't believe the original poster was behaving nicely either, but I would like to ask if you can take down my art that I didn't consent to being posted here.
It's copyright infingment and would like to have it taken down as soon as possible.

I will let you know that I informed the moderators of this site about this issue and they may take it down if you are unable to read this by then.

Hopefully this clears up any misunderstandings and I hope you have a nice day.

May Anastasia

Kiwis and DMC don't mix well.

Sirloin, asking for the farms's attention is a the last thing a degenerate like you should be doing, you cuntstiff

After months of seeing how that exceptional furry acting like a dipshit, he probably would want that because that's how much of an attention seeking whore he is.

It'll take some time for them to log in and find the post in question.

Especially since they didn't file a DMCA and if @Xenomorphs Are Cute can prove it's a screenshot, then it's really more-or-less up to them to decide :^). But it's good to have asked nicely, doesn't happen very often.

I guess it never occurred to them for "no hate art" to be a commission rule, but if they were just some rando furry artist who got randomly commissioned and had no idea about the drama to begin with and were upset by what transpired, my condolences. Never good when artists get dragged into bullshit like that.

It's copyright infringement and would like to have it taken down as soon as possible.

You will need to send a DMCA takedown request to legal@kiwifarms.net

Once a valid takedown request has been received, the owner of this site will inform you about fair use. Your art was posted on Twitter and commented on, and those comments were commented on here. Your best option is to simply state what you already have: that the art was commissioned, you aren't involved in anything, and didn't intend for it to be used in the manner in which it was.

So apparently some pathetic fanboy went ahead & commissioned someone to make an art of Panty & Stocking (Monica & Jamie's characters) beating OG Broly.

Edit: New Developments have been made

Here's the Artist, who's both a furfag & an "aspiring VA". The artist hasn't responded to it whatsoever even after being tagged in OG Post & commissioned the art itself.

Jamie being the stupid moron she is doesn't realise that, this, in a very technical way, is an act of smear campaigning. And her reply here shows she's supporting it

Also, I'm too lazy to post pics for this, but he's a reptile based furfag & a dubfag. He's also on record talkng to people like Ren, Armzy & the worst of all, Manjaw

All things apart, as pathetic as it is, this is the 1st time it felt like they can actually meme.

Isn't already drawing (and selling) some copyrighted characters a copyright infringement in itself to begin with?
Otherwise, what would prevent people from making and selling their own Justice League or Avengers comics?

Hasn't stopped people from making bank on commission work and selling prints and keychains and stuff at conventions.

This has long been a huge gray area in this medium. I do believe fan art and to a degree, commissioning of said material does still fall under the fair use. I Believe what the copyright infringement mainly speaks about is wide scale products. The commission work tends to fall under a payment of services, and not the product specifically. From what someone from the field has told me anyway.

It also depends on if you will interfere with their sales of their product that this topic moves into a possible area of action. AM2R is a prime example of a fan work even when there was no profit given, got dmca'd when Nintendo was about to release their official Metroid 2 Remake.

What also is a factor is how costly/viable filing a dmca can be, it usually is done by a case to case basis, and how assmad said fanworks make the Copyright holder, most of the time Copyright holders consider fan works to be for the most part harmless in the big picture of things, because they lack the resources and size to really pose any legitimate threat to their IP, this again is most of the time, sometimes you just get to be the the unlucky one, or they see your work to be something warranting the dmca.

From what i understand Fanart is legal in any shape and form. Like i can make and sell a picture drawn entirely on my own of Batman, i could in theory even make a comic out of it. But i couldn't use established characteristics and shit like that. Copyright is a mess and a half so i might be wrong on all of this.

Also @May Anastasia chances are the post will stay up as it is given that your "consent" in terms of how it was posted is not of any relevance. Many said it already but i too appreciate that you at least asked nicely so i have some sympathy for you here. But always keep in mind where you wandered into here. People here don't filter what they say. So being involved with Furry stuff makes you "a furfag". This is just the way some say Furry here. As long as you don't make a big fuzz out of this i can promise you though: We'll forget who you are within the week because people here only care as long as you provide shit to laugh at.

Must be that they are getting a ton of negative attention because of said work I assume.

Probably.

I actually feel bad for people who get dragged into situations like this by taking some rando's commission, not knowing they're going to be used as what amounts to propaganda in a culture war.

I'm a really shitty Kiwi. :(

@AnimuAnastasia

May, can you share any information about the commission process here? Were you aware of the whole "KickVic" hoax and the legal battle he's been waging to clear his name? Did the guy on Twitter mention he was commissioning this as some sorta "gotcha" towards Dragonball Z fans?

I just hope this reaches to you @Xenomorphs Are Cute
As I just simply want my art that was posted without my consent taken down if you could.
I am pretty sure if you post a image on Twitter that is yours, it is then free for circulation pretty much anywhere, and even not on twitter it'll go around.
Though you use Twitter, you should know how the internet works with this.

Also, sucks you're getting dragged into the dirt for this without knowledge of it being for a KV sped (supposedly), but it will be here till the end of time.
