That's the thing about Jurassic Park was it was never any great shakes beyond the first movie (although I like The Lost World ok) so there wasn't too much the World movies could ruin.

But the same could be said about the Star Wars Prequels and yet Disney found a way to fuck things up even further.

Well the Prequels still told a believable story, there are good movies in there somewhere if you get someone with better dialogue and acting.

It helps that there were plenty of good, sometimes even great, works made out of the Prequels. For the Sequels' EU they hired guys like Chuck Wendig. Nuff said.

Loved the patented 'Trump butthole hand gestures.' I can't see the comments, but I'm guessing every single one is, "Space Cop."

This guy doesn't deserve to be acknowledged by RLM (because he's probably just chasing clout anyway), but at the same time I wouldn't be too disappointed if the decided to make fun of him like the Parasite Oscars guy.

This was posted on /r/StarTrek, but I mention it here because I've been seeing more outright "oh they went too far!" crtique than normal over the last year.

I think that as a channel get bigger, there's more of a possibility of getting people who think they have a voice in the direction or nature of the content than they should. These people aren't fans, and they aren't people who actually care: they're just people who think they're entitled to saying what they should and shouldn't do because that's what they're used to with other channels who choke on anyone's dick to get one more hit.

I realize the irony of posting it somewhere like KF, but at the same time one of the things I like about RLM is that they do things the way they want it, for the reasons they have.

The only closure you're gonna get is them closing Rich's coffin because he killed himself so he wouldn't have to talk about Star Trek anymore.

There's quite a few people who generally get severely upset at any form of criticism because they believe that nothing can be bad and it's the fault of The Great Invisible Other/Society for determining good and bad. They're also the type of people who's parents never beat them enough and will often overestimate their skills or mental cognition.

I've been told by these types of people that the disney sequels were good because they created an entire genre of fan fiction and I should be reading that because by criticizing the Disney movies I'm hurting the hopes and dreams of some imaginary 11 year old girl.
