Even if what he sating was true, witch I mean that an actual girl was forced act like a boy growing up, it would still be case of male socialization and wouldn't result in lost childhoods. There are girls that do culture reasons, tomboy personality or having brothers got treated manly fashion when growing up and most survive that with minimal resentment. Maybe feeling bit lonely or awkward about changing body, having no one to share girly intrests or struggling relating with other girls with but generally fine. When reaching adulthood they tend stay tomboyish but embracing more their femine side. If actual girls can deal with that so should transgirls but hey why should we start to hold them to same standards as regular people now...
