That must have been the easiest $3,000 they made in their lives.
Alex is a great negotiator

I love that he started with 'I was willing to pay 10k'. Then says that he should have it for free lmao, if Alex ever tried to sell Yandere Simulator he's going to get reamed

Alex didn't make shit, the fans set up that subreddit, they could manage it how they want. Hilarious how he feels entitled to it just because it's about his game.

"I feel like a fair offer [for the Subreddit] is a giant apology and then handing it over at no cost"

Jesus Christ what an asshole. GIMME THE SUBREDDIT NOW NOW NOW NOW NOWWWW

They should have kept waiting until he got really desperate and offered 10k.

Honestly if I made a game that ever got popular enough to have a subreddit I would not want the responsibility of maintaining it too. Just another dumb thing to keep Alex away from working on his game.

Imagine paying like a month's worth of your Patreon income just to buy a subreddit making fun of you, the only ones at a loss is just Alex himself and compared with back then, the mockery is even worse now. I actually won't even blame those who sold the subreddit. (I actually held that view back then, and still hold that now)

I have literally no idea why these kids are so interested in a bunch of generic NPCs, or why they're so interested in continuity more messed up than that of Sonichu,
At least Sonichu is so bad it's good because of CWC's warped imagination along with ridiculous crossovers. Yandere Simulator story-wise is just so bad it's bad for it being generic when viewed in CURRENT_YEAR and even the crossovers/easter eggs (Looking back, are they even Easter Eggs?) are looked down upon.

“My highest amount is this exact number that I calculated to the very cent. What? Okay fine, I’ll round it up to an even 3000.”
He could’ve just started at 2500, why does he have to go to extremes with everything.

Shit, I should make a new autistic anti yandere dev subreddit, then in a few years, bank in on that sweet cash he gets from the broken support and expectations of children. I ironically tuned in at a fun time. How lovely

I'm honestly just angry that the moderators didn't negotiate their way up to 10k at minimum. He's shit at negotiating, he's narcissistic enough to drop a couple thousand for a subreddit, and he's clearly shit at money management. When you consider all the moderators the 3k has to be shared by, it's actually not a whole lot of money. I get that most of the moderators were kids who've never seen such a high amount of money before, but I feel like they got cheated.

Wait the money was shared? Damn it! It’s funnier if all of it went to one person!

I remember there were about 5-6 mods, so they each got at least a couple hundred. That's not a small sum for a kid in school working a minimum wage job.

I just assumed the one owner kept it all and treated himself.

I'm assuming it was shared. It might have all gone to one person though.
Alright, Hey guys. I'm here because I've been given permission to leak the subreddit selling of November 2018. As a friend of one of the moderators at the time, I've been sent a video with the conversation that took place. When the transaction was completed, MindlessMarbles deleted her own messages, so Alex couldn't use anything against her.

You'll be surprised to hear, Alex bought an entire subreddit for $3,000.

If he spent 3k on subreddit, can you imagine how much he can spend on this thread just to delete/close it?
Papa Null could get a good server for site and an apartment in Ukraine.

This site is like a small pond compared with the likes of Reddit or Twitter (and it's still an obscure site back then and still is now), so I don't really think Alex is gonna offer that much just for us to delete the thread.

Even if he did (which if Alex tried to do so that would be extremely stupid of him), it'd just be Null accepting the money and then we'd probably open a new thread elsewhere. :julay:

We can always name new thread "Gremlin Greg" and Null wouldl probabbly let it slide somehow. And then he will offer Alex to delete new one too for aditional payment. Rinse, repeat. Maybe that way Farms would actually get proper server.

So basically, people of the same mental and emotional age as Alex?

I mean, some of them unironically wrote reader x EvaXephon fanfictions and probably think he's handsome and want to fuck him. Yes, really.

Fortunately, there is some hope, as I ventured onto the YanSim subreddit again and I found this.
Didn't this jack ass say he'd stop doing that autistic google translate shit with the name??

It's not everyday you get to scam a couple thousand grand from an exceptional individual. Oh wait, the Idea Guys did it to OPL, but Chris was extorted. Alex willingly paid $3k for a fucking subreddit.

And he had already made his own "official" Yandere Simulator subreddit already during the time period where the original YanSim subreddit mods still retained control and refused to sell to Alex so what was the fucking point???
