I keep checking here in hopes that Amber says something about the whole Chantal/Charlie Gold thing, since Chantal brought her name up as well. I know I’m being :optimistic: in thinking she would insert herself for some more fun drama though.

I think Aymbur is mentally ill, but not in the quirky way she wants to be, for instance bipolar, depression, anxiety and so on. She probably has some kind of raging personality disorder but would rather tape over that with other mental illnesses that she thinks excuse her shitty behavior because she doesn't really know what any of the terms actually mean.

I agree. Obviously there's something going on because the typical well adjusted person isn't 500+ pounds. And I don't doubt that she's depressed but I don't think she has clinical depression or anything like that. I think she had a hard childhood that she hasn't worked through and ate herself into a situation she can't easily get out of in the process. She could definitely qualify for histrionic personality disorder.

Noe there is a way she could use up her ample time - volunteering for Bernie. She could cold call potential Sanders voters in order to convince them that HE'S the man! I'm sure she could quickly & thoroughly sum up his economic policies as well as detail how it's all going to be paid for. I'm sure she could sway thousands & Thousands & THOUSANDS...
 
I mean you don't come out of the shitty childhood she had without some sort of mental trauma or issues imo. But at some point you have to grow the fuck up and accept the cards you've been dealt and take care of it properly, which she doesn't do. And she'd totally go canvassing door to door, but she can hardly make it to her mailbox.

Volunteering in the local campaign office? Sitting in office chairs is unsafe for her (like when she quit her super secret government job).

Maybe just becoming informed about the issues so she could make an informed decision rather than a trendy one? Too stupid, to arrogant, and doesn't actually live in the real world.

I just want to add:
Amber has missed basic developmental milestones (but that's more the fault of her environment than herself), has low intelligence and imo, shows signs of executive dysfunction (which funnily enough is a symptom of Bipolar Disorder which she claims to have). (But like I said that's just my opinion.) Since executive function is responsible for things needed to function on a day to day basis like planing, impulse control, etc.; I do not think that this woman will ever change. She'll continue going in circles until she falls over.

Also, Amber: Every person has a sob story to tell but not every person expects to be exempt from judgement because of it.
 
So i was watching a compilation channel this morning and heard Amber say something interesting... She said how if she stopped eating she would only make it about 2 weeks and then she would die. That got me thinking, how many calories does that calorie camel have stored up in all that fat.

If my math is off feel free to correct me but i figured she probably has about 90 weeks worth of calories stored in and around her body and face areas!!! I figured it takes around 3500 cal to burn off a pound of fat so being generous lets say she has about 370 extra pounds of fat on her frame, thats 1,295,000 calories. Divided that number by 14,000, roughly the amount her body would consume in a week by just being a person and that was about 90 weeks worth of stored up energy..... Idk if thats accurate but if it is thats astounding. Im pretty shit at math and its fairly early so i could be off i just couldnt stop thinking about it and had to tell someone.

She is a manipulative narcissist with childhood trauma that she buries with food. That's it. Is she depressed? Yup. It however isn't a chemical depression, its a situational one. She would have to CHANGE the way she lives her life to actually cure it. She wont. Anyone who lives their life in their home and only leaves to eat is going to be depressed.

She has nothing to actually live for. Nothing to distract her. Nothing to tire her mentally. The only thing physically that tires her day to day is her being over weight. The thing is she's never going to be properly diagnosed with anything because she will never be 100% honest with herself, let alone a professional. Her life has been nothing but survival and its to the point now where she is delusional and believes the shit she spews.

Edit: Honestly the best thing gorl could do for her mental health would be to get down to a weight where it would be feasible or her to get a job again. Even if it were part time, making beans, the structure would do wonders for her. Even her ego would get checked because she would have someone to report do and be held accountable towards. Of course she makes more than enough money on YT to never have to actually work, as do thousands of other YTers but there is a huge difference between 90% of them and the likes of Amber. They have motivation and strive to improve their content, grow their channels, make a brand out of themselves. ALR is not a leader by any means and without someone pushing her and holding her accountable she will be stagnant until the day she dies. Regardless of how much money she dies with, it'll be irrelevant and she will still be depressed.
