The Daily Stormer has announced that it plans to lay off the majority of its staff after readers of the neo-Nazi website failed to send it enough money.

The Daily Stormer has announced that it plans to lay off the majority of its staff after readers of the neo-Nazi website failed to send it enough money.

Andrew Anglin, the site’s founder, bemoaned in a post on Monday that numerous writers would have to be let go after less than $5,000 was raised by the Daily Stormer’s readership.

“I’ve given 30-day noticed to most of the staff, because even after I told you people that the site lost $50,000 last year, fewer than 60 of you decided to send money, for a total of less than $5,000,” Anglin wrote. “The costs for January were more than $10,000.”


Anglin, who was ordered by a judge last year to pay more than $700,000 to a black woman whom he and his supporters had harassed, described the minimal support as “absurd.”


“A site this size should be able to function comfortably with a modest staff,” he added. “But hey, if people don’t want to send money, we’ll do things differently.”


Anglin further stated that he would be the only full-time writer moving forward and warned that the future of the site’s “race war” section was “up in the air.”

“It is impossible to communicate how depressing this is for me personally,” he continued. “I thought that we were promoting an agenda here that people believed in, but it seems that virtually all of you do not believe in this enough to send $5.”

Characterizing the site as the only large platform devoted to “telling the truth about the Jews,” Anglin ended his tirade by accusing “the overwhelming majority of the readership” of not caring about the Daily Stormer’s white supremacist agenda.

These people deserve it, not because they are “Nazis” per say, but because they are Journalists.
 
Online racial identity politics is a dead business model, real life gives it to you free these days, wanted or not, and in much better quality than stale jokes and glow-in-the-dark race conspiracy theories that have been around since Arpanet.

But seriously, this was a niche market within a niche market, they were idiots to think it was a long-term sustainable idea.

Lets not forget don black, the tard who runs stormfront and that whole operation red dog to create a mercenary army and invade an all black caribbean island to create his super awesome white ethnostate.... because logic, and who, despite being supposedly fanatically pro white happens to have a wife who works for a rich cuban guy in the capacity of running a foundation to arrange for the immigration of cuban and other non white children into the US and to 'uplift the underprivileged classes' in the US.

That's exactly what their business model is, browse /pol/ and find some interesting posts and just write them into an article and post it then occasionally beg for some shekels but the whole niche is dead as it has been shitposted to death and Anglin lost the ability to monetize during its heyday so now it's on a death spiral.

I think if Anglin loses his domain name and CDN again then it's bye bye Stormer since I doubt he has the funds to pay out for new infrastructure etc.
 
I'll never understand people who pay for things like articles or porn.

You can read Mein Kampf online. Or if you really need your Nazi fix, read the TOS for any major social media company.
 
I figure the lack of donations might be partially due to how you really don't want donations to Daily Stormer showing up in your credit card transactions, and they probably can't take Paypal and have to use dodgy payment processors with nasty fees.

Still, it's not surprising that unironic racists are too dumb to use cryptocurrencies, hahahahahaha.

I always assumed it was a two-man oppression, just Anglin and Weev living together in a cave in Romania or some other slav country.
