I find that the most disturbing aspect of all the transsexuals paraded on the thread is that they don't seem to have the faintest understanding of the gender that they intend to appropriate. All they have is this hyper-sexualized ideation of womanhood (cue the make-up and all) which even biological women find hard to don because it a.) requires good genes and b.) cosmetic interventions when the former begins to wane. When one is disadvantaged by being born a male whom is not attractive or androgynous, the make-up merely highlights his physiological inequities while a full-on surgery will not make you pass as a woman (or, in many cases, not even as a human being.) Granted if it has them feel better, whatever. But I don't think a reasonable mind will go through this procedure knowing the ramifications of looking like this thread's exemplars. It's not even a question of mental illness, but an absurd lack of self-awareness.

They think someday they'll magically become a woman, its seen among those who want to ingest a large amount of hormones at once thinking that it'll act "faster" as if it were a magic potion or skip huge stages of their transition, like taking their oestrogen at night and the next day they already go out with a dress with their hairy and mainly body.

It's mental illness, plain and simple. They think becoming a woman will be sexy and solve all of their problems. They think HRT is capable of doing all these things it can't actually do because these people spend their days participating in online circle-jerks. They also think being a giant, hairy, non-passing gorilla makes them "more oppressed" (because they're more likely to get "misgendered") and therefor more worthy of peoples' attention and sympathy. I've seen troons accuse each other of "passing privilege" if you can believe it.

I've read this whole thread, and I can't tell you how many times I've looked at a troon's post and thought, "Damn, why don't you just learn to accept yourself as you are?" Enabling their delusions is not making these people happier or healthier. Therapists and psychiatrists need to stop using dysphoria as an explanation for everything and start acknowledging that these peoples' problems can't be caused by one thing. Clearly these people have other problems that vary from person to person, be it autism, endocrine disorders, unaddressed trauma in their past, personality disorders, eating disorders, body image issues, relationship problems, or any number of other things.
