It's because he's not used to smiling with his teeth. I've always tended to keep my mouth closed while smiling for some reason, and whenever I get asked to show my teeth in a picture I do something similar just because I'm not used to moving my mouth like that.

Remember Boogie was going around Vidcon telling people how awful he feels and iDubbbz told him to fuck off and that he's got the easiest job in the world? It feels like that's what he's subjecting his YouTube followers to.
 
Boogie could have shared a screenshot of his interaction with Twitter support as proof he was really hacked. But he wasn't hacked. He's going to keep lying indefinitely because at this point in his mind telling the truth would be worse.

He wasn't getting enough pity or attention so he lied by telling his followers he'd been swatted dozens of times in 2019. He wrote this not just in DM's to people from reddit but to anyone who questioned him on Twitter replies, YouTube comments, etc.

Then when caught red handed with evidence, he doubles down and says the whole thing was a game to bait his haters from reddit, claiming he only told one person from there in DM's, but the evidence shows he was telling this story to everyone!

Finally he tripples down and decides to edit his display name, header, and profile picture, delete a few tweets that made him look bad, then log out and switch to his alt account to claim he was hacked. There was no hacker, this was all a ruse set up by himself for pity and attention.

I don't even know if ruse does it justice. He doesn't have any kind of master plan, he just keep lying and then when he gets called out on it, tells another lie "jokes on them I was only pretending" style. There's no calculation behind what he's doing, it's clear he's talented at getting sympathy by saying he's fat/pathetic/abused/gonna kms/etc. and when that gets stripped away, he just finds some other way that he's the victim again.

So yes, I believe that *he* believes he was hacked and that it's appropriate to accuse people of committing felonies in order to "A'ha, gotcha!" them.

Because he does mental gymnastics to rationalize his shitty behavior.
