Stephen King got majorly cancelled by blue checkmarks today after criticizing diversity and he's still doing this npc shit.

He's not very bright is he?
All of the soul and wit has been sucked out by writing those tons of horror novels he has written. He's written about 96 books. Since 1974, he's been writing around 2 a year.

Counter-proposal: We push California into the ocean and then nuke it anyways just to be safe. This is one of the most bat-shit things I've read all year and I'm not the tiniest bit surprised to learn that it came out of Harvard.
"Here's how we can prevent unjust influences in our democratic S O C I E T Y by declaring several afluent democrats and their families to be states!"

I didn't know the DNC was advocating for sovereign citizen talking points now.

"How can we call for the complete subjugation of our political opposition without just openly advocating taking their votes away and locking up any dissenters? Hmmmmm."

I also find it hilarious that Vox refers to this as "unrigging" democracy, when what they're describing is quite literally rigging democracy to eliminate democracy.

There should be more guys like them in Hollywood. Add also Jon Voight and Stephen Baldwin, who's a more sane actor than his brother Alec, to the list.
Speaking of Alec according to him Trump supporters have ruined the moral fabric of America. Guys you all remember America was the moral beacon of the world all throughout the 2000’s until Trump, right?

Hm, let's see... who was President in 2013 when Barbara Walters condemned Corey Feldman for speaking out against his own abuse because he said that the people who did it were still working and still prominent in Hollywood, and most of the nation did a collective shrug at her victim blaming on national television? Who was President when we saw the rise of child drag clubs? Who was President when we saw the rise of events for gay teens organized by adult gay people where parents were banned? Or school events where drag queens were brought in to give talks to small children? Who was President when we had near monthly race riots?

Hm hm hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Any Hollywood dipshit who talks about morality is going to burn in hell second for hypocrisy but first for selling children to pedophiles. Alec Baldwin supports child rape.

Not only that, but also because they consider themselves above the norm. Which is why every red carpet famous celebrity women wear scantily clad clothing near to bare skin and call it fashion. Yet, in the same breath speak out against women being looked at like a sex object. Talk about hypocrisy at its finest.

I mean, that was from a few days or so ago, but I just now saw the checkmarks cannibalizing him. Astounding. :story:

That literally is unconstitutional, except maybe in the case of Texas. (Didn't stop fedgov from admitting West Virginia though). Also, if this happens, I demand each and every Trump Tower become Trump States.

An obnoxious person I just happened across:

"I'm making a difference!"
Although we are here to laugh at spergs, I honestly just ignore anonymous people with 6 likes posting TDS stuff online

I don't single out normal people for their political opinions, because at the end of the day, they have that right too, misguided as they might seem to me unless they are advocating for insane shit like gulags and forced communism or violence against republicans, this person is just reproducing what the entirety of mainstream media tells her, I don't blame her, I am forced to work with, interact and cooperate with people with the most diverse political leanings, respect is not when you demand a hive-mind or an echo-chamber in order to be able to interact with people, respect happens when you can see disagreement and not go full retard over a difference of opinion.

it just gets funny for me when you have artists and celebrities with millions of followers posting the most idiotic of hot takes, (like putting the MAGA hat kid on a woodchipper, or openly encouraging assaulting him) but unless they are doing something incredibly insane, normal people don't really qualify as an example of TDS for me.

one of the reasons we went clown world in the last years is because people lost all respect in political discourse, including started to demonize very mild mainstream opinions on both sides, people are forgetting that the way we build a common ground is talking to people, including the ones you would consider your opponent, respect is something democrats threw out of the fucking window at a campaign level in 2016, not saying Trump is a saint of politeness, but the reasons he was chosen as a representative relate very well to the degradation of political discourse in general, trust in media and such, and the reason we have this amount of retarded celebrities with the shittiest opinions advocating violence to millions of people that deep down want largely similar things.

TL;DR, normal democrat voters are not a mockery target for me, we should fucking hang (metaphorically) celebrities who spew exceptional shit tho.

Putting aside the blatant advocation of rigging the system in their favor, who the fuck would want Obamaland as a state?

This might be one the most idiotic takes that I've seen come from Vox, or any publication for that matter.

This sounds like something a stoner playing Fallout would think of.

"Dude, what if all the rich Democratic families made their own Republic of Daves? Then they could get their own senators and super delegate the Electoral College."

I'm really hoping that this was a silly thought experiment that some dolt printed as serious, in the vein of "The surest path to world peace is nuclear war" . Perhaps as a way to lampoon the idea of every state getting equal say in the Senate.

VOX said:
Literally nothing in the Constitution prevents Congress from admitting the Obama family’s personal DC residence as a state .

Second Amendment?

It was like 20-25 years ago, but I seem to remember a President that was a philandering womanizer, a habitual liar who abused his powers of office, took foreign money in exchange for influence and even sold out the White House itself. I also seem to remember the opposing party claiming that if the country let him get away with it, that would normalize immorality, excuse terrible behavior by the President, and irreparably damage the moral fabric of public society.

On a completely unrelated note, after that guy skated by with full support from his party, some other dude named Donald Trump suddenly felt confident enough to try a Presidential bid in the 2000 election.

I'd have to scrounge up some respect for Harvard if this winds up being a Sokal Hoax designed to gauge how severe TDS is.

Since some of you have apparently not heard about this yet...

It probably would be a good idea to split it up.
Californians don't seem to understand that if they split the state in six, the six separate parts will diverge in needs and priorities. Look at the difference between cherry red West Virginia and deep blue Virginia.

They really think it'll increase their power by five times. But then again, these are the same people who need to be told to evacuate from a wildlife headed straight at them.

Maybe he's a war hawk who misses the days when America fucked up the largest generation in its history to contain the advance of Communism in Asia, or toppled Gadaffi in Libya so the huddled masses of Africa could make it to the promised land of Europe.
