Explains so much of TDS in general. They Chicken Little to the most insane extremes over threats they perceive from Trump that have never come to pass.

They were expecting death camps and gassing to be set up in America due to fearing him a Nazi and here we are almost four years on and not a one in sight even though they claim it's his goal. If anything, he's practically been the biggest white knight the Jewish population ever had, not that actual truth stops them from entertaining deluded lies because they feel those are more correct because they keep wanting to believe the worst.

I was highly skeptical of Trump and worried he was gonna fuck things up, but I was GLAD that he turned out to not be so bad, I was relieved.

It's so utterly bizarre to me that people would instead want to pretend and live in the fantasy that he's this great big disaster instead of being relieved that he turned out to be ok.

While I don't agree with all the opinions of Thomas Hobbes, he hit the nail on the head when he outlined how human nature tends towards the nasty. If you are willing to view the world through that lens and color your perception of people based on that, then I can easily see why so many TDS sufferers make Trump out to be less a human being and more an incarnation of evil.

The weirdest part is all the American Jews who, despite trump being the most Israel friendly president we've had since 1948, shriek about Trump being a nazi and enabling white supremacy and how ICE facilities are just like Auschwitz.

It's kind of amazing that they keep on only thinking of the now for such a "progressive" faction; even I was able to see that them trying to cut back the president's leeway on military actions will ensure they'll scream when the GOP turns it on them.

For people obsessed with destiny, they sure don't plan out that road do they? I mean, cutting back presidential power isn't a bad idea tbh, but this is clearly just them proving they support the right for Iranians to ook and eek and bomb citizens.

What makes this so ironic is that the media thinks that AR stands for Assault Rifles or Automatic Rifles. So they want to ban all Assault weapons, and only have semi-automatic weapons. Not understanding that the most common weapons used by both the military and the police are semi-automatic.

Those American Jews must know that the comparison is bullshit, but that more people would believe it if a Jew backs it thereby flipping a few WW2-obsessed boomers against Trump.

I've had a conspiracy theory that there are broadly 2 Jewish factions in the West; one that loves Israel and wants to use Western military might to prop it up , and one that wants the West or perhaps the whole world to turn into their very own multicultural British Raj-esque superstate where all the other ethnic groups are carefully balanced & played off against one another as needed, forming a limitless supply of interchangeable servants. The second of these factions would greatly benefit in the short run from throwing their weight behind disingenuous Holocaust comparisons . This would explain why Jews are so polarized on Orange Man and, despite appearing to play both sides of politics, allow this partisan conflict to get far more vicious than any play-acted fight ought to be.

They're even lower than the C.S. Lewis quote: they're not a tyranny to care for their lessers, they're a tyranny to appear like they do. Most of their policies harm the intended group: easier access to transitioning hurts people with gender dysphoria, constantly pushing gayness down everyone's throats is reducing acceptance, "harm reduction" drug policy encourages drug use, endless pro-abortion motions suppress discussing maternal leave (which is a far more important issue for most women), hurdles to gun ownership disarm poor law-abiding citizens, etc. If they were even a little noblesse oblige instead of virtue signaling, they'd at least occassionally do something helpful.

The part that always stood out to me was how they were doing everything possible to make themselves victims if things did go downhill.

If I legitimately believed Trump was going to declare himself Fuhrer, you guys would never see me again. I'd go dark online, be at the gym every day, and sell unnecessary items like my TV or PS4 for gun money. I'd be trying to learn a second language or other skills like wilderness survival or boxing or even canning food. I'd dress as plainly as possible in drab mono-colors with no logos or eye catching elements; ideally, I'd be so boring I'd blend in with the background even if you were looking directly at me.

Instead, they scream online and draw as much attention as they can with their appearance, before spending money on frivolities like hair dye and tattoos. It's just ridiculous.
