I have to laugh at this ridiculous notion that Dobson's breadtube senpai Innuendo Studios seems to be operating off of, that going to the right = "radicalization" but going to the left is "deradicalization", as if he's trying to pretend and convince others (like dobson) that there's no such thing as "radical left". Innuendo goes on and on about how the conservative youtubers/podcasters "only have each other on" (or "only right leaning guests"), while completely ignoring all the left leaning ones that only have each other or their own side on. Besides the fact that it's blatantly misleading or false; Crowder has left-leaning guests all the time; this is the very basis of "Change My Mind". This also ignores the current woke radical antifa leftist habit to not talk to "right-leaning" media; such as True North and Rebel Media in Canada. They'll have leftists on if they'll COME on. But more and more they're hearing these lefty ideologue rent-a-mob professional agitators, many of whom got into politics and ran for office or GOT INTO office, refusing to speak to them. This is also happening to many outlets/podcasts in the United States and the United Kingdom because people even more radical than Innuendo are actively preaching non-engagement with "Nazis" (where "Nazi" = anyone not NDP/Liberal/Labour/Democrat), thus creating concurrent "bubbles", though these bubbles are not at the choice of the "right-leaning" folks.
Also hilarious is the idea that "Breadtube" has debunked any of it.
"I'm not trying to make a slippery slope argument" *proceeds to make slippery slope argument which is basically the entire video*
Funny thing about it is everything innuendo studios says about the "Gabe" getting out of the "Alt-Right" could apply perfectly to someone getting out of the far-left (like Antifa or whatever).
This is the nonsense that has radicalized Dobson. He gets his strawmen directly from these videos. That's why he's so good at strawmen; it's not him, it's his senpais. Conflating the Alt-right with anything remotely conservative is straight out of Innuendo Studios videos. He's not doing the thinking, he's letting Innuendo Studios, Movieblob, Lindsay Ellis, etc, do the thinking for him. The irony? That particular video about radicalization, makes the claim that right-leaning videos (and gateway drug videos) can't leave a proper impression in a person to make a proper argument on their own once a person's listened to their stuff because their arguments are not good. Well, Dobson can't make a proper argument on his own after listening to Innuendo Studios, so by this logic (and by any person with a brain listening to the video), Innuendo Studios' video arguments are bad.
Now, the
actual Alt-right SHOULD be "gotten out of", but Innuendo makes it seem like being right-leaning in ANY capacity is bad (because breadtube, of course. Duh).
