To be totally honest, if I were transgender I would pretty much stick with dating bisexual people.

It just seems way more pragmatic than taking a gamble on somebody who would be turned off by my junk.

I'm not sure why, but that does make me kind of sad, since you can't really control who the old hormones glom onto. But that IS more pragmatic.

I don't wish for transgendered people to feel unnecessarily limited, but the reality is that some people aren't going to feel comfortable with a transgendered partner. I personally wouldn't mind, but I know not everyone shares that sentiment. People have preferences. It's sad, but ce la vie.

It is sad, yeah. Not that there aren't cisgendered straight and gay people who will date transgender people, because there are, but for a lot of people, it'd be really awkward if you have to tell your date that your junk doesn't match what they think your junk is.

That's gotta suck hard, man.

Wow it's like they aren't aware that gender dysmorphia is an actual condition caused by hormones and brain chemicals IE: a fucking medical condition. How fucking stupid do these people have to be to not only cut divisory lines among one of the most maligned groups on earth, but to do this and claim they're helping. Fuck transtrenders theyre doing a ton of damage to a group of people that really don't need any further damage done to them

I refuse to accept input from anyone who types like that for the same reason I refuse to discuss Hemingway with my cat.
The witch hunt to root out "the true danger" in queer communities is pretty easy: constant infighting and bickering to the point of being a national laughingstock.
No joke; I worry that it'll be a huge PR problem for the community in the future. Fact is, hate crimes against the transgendered community do exist, sad to tell, but good luck getting anyone to take it seriously when it's used as a shield to defend shit like "die cis scum". People are eventually going to get sick of it. We hear people like Kat use it as a defense for bad behavior all the time ("you're literally murdering me by transgendering"), and I'm worried that it'll eventually lose the impact it needs. You can only say something so many times before people stop caring, and this is too important to let that happen.

some dysphoric trans people have no way of getting hormones, or are being pissed about by medical professionals, and their dysphoria is bad enough that they (almost always MtFs because its safer) only have the choices of self-medicate or suicide. the medical systems for dealing with transgender patients are so bad that it's actually very common for them to turn up for treatment already on hormones from self medicating, yet said medical providers see nothing wrong with it.

trans men have virtually no representation anywhere. in the media, trans women get people like alexis arquette and laverne cox. everywhere you turn if you google anything to do with being transgender, its for trans women. oestrogen and anti-androgens are very readily available - often legally. trans men? we have chaz bono as our representation. nobody deserves chaz bono.

i was actually very happy when i found the trans scene on tumblr 3-4 years ago, before it devolved into the cesspool it is now, because we got information. there were so many sources for trans men, other people who knew what it was like and could give advice on things like where to buy binders and packers, and extra small mens clothes. it was really the only place on the internet that had a decent amount of resources for trans men.

as regards to the common thing of "oh trans men get male privilege thus they r scum"? no until we pass we don't. and even then, pre-t we look like 13 year old boys. thankfully testosterone is one hell of a hormone, and rapidly gives us the building blocks for looking like any other man.

tl;dr trans men get some real shit, and idcp is a crazy fucking tranny and needs to leave

I see that in many of her photos, she's really been working those slimming "misleading angle" shots.
