He's probably mixing his pain meds and alcohol again. Maybe he's setting himself up for the "I have an addiction and I'm going to get rehab" defense.

I believe he'd rather die than enter a substance rehab.
On the other hand...a psych rehab might be an acceptable dodge for him?
In psych rehabs they tend no to discourage ones delusions.

I've found it really helps me to mentally append the phrase "... as the latest plot twist in my self-published dystopian Disney Princess / Pokemon crossover fanfic" to any of Yaniv's statements lately.

It takes the situation from "batshit insane to the extent of it being literally unintelligible" up to "still batshit insane but in 200 years from now, it might be considered a classic of the postmodern period".

Wouldn't the Cop just find the building Superintendent with the Master Key, for a Wellness Check? YAniv makes a big deal of having one of those "I've Fallen and I can't get up" buttons. Part of the service is they set you up so there is either a lockbox with an emergency key, that they know the code to and can tell the cop, or building management holds a key and is in the loop.
