Those numbers do not indicate that you have grown your customer base, they indicate you have shrunk it.
We all know Marvel and DC Comics and Hollywood have hurt their profits by injecting divisive politics into entertainment. We also know that creator's personal conduct towards fans have also hurt earnings. You have made comments and videos assailing people like Brie Larson and Rian Johnson for that very type of thing. You have said SJWs have damaged the sales of Marvel and DC Comics.
While Rian Johnson, Tim Miller, Brie Larson, Mark Waid, Gail Simone and others may say or do things that push away all who do not agree with them, one thing they do not do is to then push away those in their fan base. We have seen leftist's divisive movies, TV and comics fail, while pushing away half the population. But if they had went further and divided their own fan base and attacked their fans within it..their releases would have flopped even worse.
That line they do not cross, you stormed through! So now you cannot sell your products to the left and you have pushed away many buyers on the right. What does that leave you, a potential to sell to 10% of comic book buyers?
You have ranted about Rian Johnson and others for creating flops and blaming fans for their failures, then you went and not only did the same, but did it to a much higher degree. You seem to think you are immune to the effects of chasing away potential customers.
Your falling backer numbers and the very low backer numbers for IGG campaigns you have strongly supported indicate you have turned triumph into tragedy. You had a very small customer base to begin with but did manage to get them to buy a comic book for $25 and up. Maybe you let the high amount of money you sucked out of a few people go to your head.
The backer count had to be the focus. And to grow that count you had to completely satisfy them, especially by getting them their promised comics in schedule. A fan on your side would blindly argue for your comic, even denying it's many problems. A loyalty you could've had by getting the comic done fast. You had a chance to impress them and you blew it!
After you blew it, you were on thin ice and needed to be on your best behavior by being humble, receptive to critique, understanding backer frustration. But again, you chose the opposite of the wise move, as you always do.
The thin ice broke and look at those low backer numbers now. Forget about how you sucked $60,000 out of 800 backers. That only matters to your bank account. ComicsGate divided, the dwindling backer numbers....you caused it all.
You destroyed ComicsGate, you destroyed yourself, you even took a few others down with you. You are Anti-SJWs worst enemy and the SJWs greatest ally.
So you think you are going to topple the mainstream comic book industry? You? That would take a lot of right moves from someone notorious for making all the wrong moves.
