After reading r/itsafetish I'm seriously wondering if there are even legitamate cases of "being born in the wrong body" or if it's just perverts with sissificiation fetishes who overdosed on porn all the way down.

There's no such thing as "being born in the wrong body," but there is such a thing as genuine dysphoria... But usually dysphoria prevents someone from pursuing sex or masturbating, so... The growing awareness and accessibility of transition is snaring a lot of people, and I think there are now more people who fetishize transgenderism and intentionally inducing dysphoria through pornography and sissification fetishism than there are people transitioning due to dysphoria. Being aroused by being seen as female is not normal, or.. It didn't used to be. Apparently, now it is.

It's hard to keep up with this bs and it changes a lot, but the current party line seems to be that gender dysphoria is a medical condition that arises from your body "knowing" it's the opposite sex but finding the wrong parts, causing something like phantom limb syndrome in amputees.

And this "explanation" is incoherent. A person cannot "know" what it feels to have the body part he never owned in the first place. I cannot develop "phantom wings", nor can I develop a "phantom proboscis" and then claim I am an elephant.

Well he has this standard advice for coming out that was originally for just gay kids but has also ablied to trannies. He advised that when coming out to your unaccepting parents you give them a year to adjust. Most parents love their kids and want to have a good relationship with them, but just like everyone they need time to think and do revaluation. So say to them that you will give them a year to ask stupid questions, say hurtful things, depate, cry, grief and so fort. During that time you should be extremely patient and respectful, answer questions, be sympathetic and generally just take what they dish out. After that year is over you put you foot down and give them the ultimatum. Eather they accept your sexuality and be very least polite about it or you will walk out and even brake all contact if nessary. Then you basically just do that. If you are visiting and they talk shit, you get up, explain yourself and leave. If everyone but you are allowed to bring a date, refuse to go and say why. Be consistent and clear about this and they will get the message pretty soon. Of course it’s still possible that your parents will not accept and then it’s time to cut ties but at least you will have the peace of mind that you tried.

Not that bad of advice but many people especially trannies tend to completely skip the be patient part and just jump to the ultimatum.

Honestly, I would not call gender dysphoria something real at all, at least not at its core. Rather it is a manifestation of other common mental/emotional problems. First, the brain map thing sounds like bs. I think if that was real, it would be physically, medically devastating if not fatal. Like, what if your 'brain body map' forgot about some nonsexual body part? I expect it would stop functioning (because hello, the brain is what does a great deal of that) and you'd probably die, not get dysphoria feels. Also, why does this oh so scientific brain map thing only affect sex based organs? And yet those wrong brain map organs, which their brains are just inherently unable to cope with, physically function perfectly.

If you toss that one out and also toss out the conscious decision to identify as the other sex (going from a medical perspective) then what you have left is the dysphoria. Which sounds like something most people have when you get down to it. They're not special. Go ask any teenager, or fat person, or scarred, or... Well, yeah. Anybody. Hating your body and feeling like you'd be happier if you were in a different one is, like, a staple of the human condition. For some reason thinking the opposite sex body is for you is different though.

As for that detail, of it supposedly being alleviated specifically by transitioning to the opposite sex... I do not believe in the rare times this actually happens that this is inherent, but rather conditioned. Brains are so, so good at exactly that sort of thing and conditioning comes in countless forms.

So... Yeah just kind of adding to reasons why I think 'legitimate' transgenderism is a myth.

When I hear about "phantom" genitals (which they've never had, so that makes no sense), I always just think of this:

There's...a lot to unpack from that text. Such as, for instance, his unintentional implication that his ghost vagina stretches from his groin to his chest. But what I find the most, um, "intriguing" is how he's strictly focused on the sexual elements of a woman. Even then, it's grotesquely warped by pornography, as if what it means to be a woman is to be coated with semen inside and out for some reason. There's a lot of qualities which are distinctly "feminine," many of which most women don't actually express, but wanting to cuddle for hours on end coupled with an ejaculate obsession is such a distinctly male perspective on femininity that it reads like parody.

Much like transgenderism itself, the term ladybrain seems to have different meanings. One of them would be how much you like your sexual stereotypes. I am no expert... But the longer I think about all the brain explanations the more they sound like pseudoscience pulled out of their asses, because they plainly have no idea what their brains do. All these seem to be based on an assumption that conscious thought and emotion is significant and meaningful in this context, when thinking doesn't have anything to do with most of it. I don't think about my heart beating, and I have little conscious understanding of what goes into just that one part.
