psych meds are different for everyone, but in my experience, it was insanely weak compared to other medication like Lamictal, Risperidone, Clozapine, Zyprexa, Seroquel, etc pretty much every fucking else. It only made me a little foggy and it killed my motivation to do anything beyond my necessary responsibilities. My doc at the time said that the weight gain from it was insanely minor compared to those other drugs I listed above. Maybe 10 lbs could be blamed on it. The rest was entirely due to the person not making lifestyle changes to compensate for the possible fatigue and sleepiness etc.

The horror genre is extremely broad and varied, so I'll be fair and say that Steph is entirely within her rights to pick and choose whatever movie she wants to see. That said, I don't remember anyone on here calling her a "poser," exactly--at most, they just questioned her narrow taste in horror movies and called her out for choosing more "mainstream" titles, which is a bit different from saying "LOL, look at this fake ass bitch pretending to like horror movies."

I think she's specifically getting pissy at meowthkip, man vs persistent rat, and I for saying that she needs to dive into some more obscure and classic titles. Especially when I sperged out about classic films, and if so, that gives me the warm and fuzzies that I triggered her. Rates self optimistic.

When I first read that post, I automatically assumed the VHS belonged to her parents. Way to "prove" your deep and encompassing passion for horror with a single movie in a format you've probably never used in decades, Steph.

(Then again, she's so geriatric that maybe she does still have a working VHS player. Would fit the 60-year-old granny aesthetic.)
