The vagina is normally in a flattened state by pelvic floor muscles.

To reach the cervix for a pap smear, the speculum has to essentially winch the end part of the vagina as wide as the opening, putting stress on the vaginal walls to tilt the cervix into an accessible position.

This is the source of the pain.

Thankfully, newer kits should make the pap smear obsolete.

This guy is so fixated on the type of skin present in the vagina, but the skin is just the literal surface of the issue. Vaginas aren't static holes--they contract/relax with arousal and on command. A man's pelvic muscles can make his dick twitch, but won't magically change their orientation to make a hole in his pelvis function like an actual human organ.

My favorite part of his post is the request for vaginal "specs." My vagina has 64 GB of storage and a Bluetooth connection, what about yours?
