Also see: denying the girls painkillers or sedation to deal with the constant crippling rictus that is incredibly painful; making more fun of them than we could ever do by dressing them up in costumes they had no ability to enjoy or comprehend, not being able to see or interpret stimuli at all, let alone anything as complex as a character from a movie or book and setting them up in weird tableaus like some weird serial killer shit gone wrong; torturing them by dipping them in the ocean or onto the sand or into a hot tub; posting the most humiliating anecdotes about their toilet habits, their stenches and soiling themselves for laughs that if you truly believed those girls were people, you would never contemplate doing to them; not allowing doctors to properly track Lola's brain condition, oh and lying to doctors about Claire's abilities because apparently why not. Oh, and ignoring your one functional child for years, demoting him to the status of an unloved pet because he does not require 24/7 care.

The family dynamic and the state of those two girls was so horrifying you either puke, rage or make sick jokes about it.

So while the foundation path is the most likely from this point on, I wonder if she’ll consider Munchausen by Proxy and finally have a use for Cal to her benefit.

Am I the only one who is WTFing over Gwen claiming PTSD over the spuds' deaths? Two heavily disabled children (one whose disability was known in utero) is not the same as being "exposed to: death, threatened death, actual or threatened serious injury, or actual or threatened sexual violence." (DSM-5).

Grief? Absolutely. Complex Bereavement? Sure, why not. An Adjustment Disorder? Maybe. PTSD? Lol no.

It's over, at least for both spuds. Either Gwen is going to adopt a potato or like everyone said make a foundation and tell the world the story of her life with the little monsters she created. At first I really believed she'd just adopt another potato eventually but i'm going agaisnt it for now- her two potatoes had an extremely rare disease/syndrome whatever, if she just adopts a regular fucked up baby it isn't going to be that especial, is it? Plus she won't adopt a tard baby, they are a lot of trouble. Claire and Lola were not even tards, they were 0% human. I think the story is over for good this time.

I'm in two minds about this:

On the one hand, I'm thinking, "What the fuck was Gwen expecting after she chose not to give her kids the necessary medicine", but medicine would have at best prolonged what for these two kids was a meaningless, painful existence. On the other, I'm kind of interested to see what will happen to Cal. Is this crap going to follow him for the rest of his life like a Fiji-Mermaid-shaped apparition? Will his mom actually step up and be there for him instead of dedicating all her time to whoring out the taters to the media? The latter is very unlikely, but it's not as though she has any other choice. The cameras want to see a pair of aberrations, not a sad, frumpy middle-aged mom.

Also, not to brag, but I'm one of the people who voted for "6-12 months". Where's my $10 Applebees giftcard?

I wouldn't discount it as a possibility.

Here's what I think is more likely: Gwen adopting or fostering some disabled kids. The only problem is that kids with conditions as extreme as the taters' aren't in the foster system, for the unfortunate reason that they plain don't have the resources to survive. And I don't think a "normal" disabled kid (who still has the ability to think and talk) is enough for Gwen. Not unique or damaged enough. Although I'm sure Gwen would still get a great narcissist high off of constantly virtue-signaling about how wonderful of a person she is for taking in a disabled kid.

The problem is that while Gwen probably did have an iota of motherly love for the 'tatos, the resulting attention she received was just as, if not more important for her. Would she care about children with disabilities were it not for life saddling her with a pair of them? I doubt it. She'd probably be too busy selling LuLaRoe and browsing Pinterest.

I don't believe they were actually people in any meaningful sense of the word. They lacked every fundamental of personhood. There wasn't enough brain there for there to be a personality, desires, preferences, or any other ability to make a choice that makes up a person.

If they had any sentience at all it was just awareness of unending pain, so I hope they didn't even have that.

So it's an abstract kind of feel that this horrible cunt Gwen should have at least respected the people they could have been, even if nothing but a physical form ever manifested. If they were the actual people Gwen claims to have believed they were, she treated them horribly, and I wish I could believe in a punishment for her, although just being such a miserable, monstrous person is pretty bad just by itself.
 
I feel so sorry about her passing, but I am glad Lola can no longer suffer and be shamed by her awful "mother". She can now finally be with her sister and rest in peace.

I hope Gwen won't use Cal as a crutch now...Seriously wish the best of luck to Cal :(

Will Gwen adopt replacement spuds? Nah. She always seemed to take prideful glee in having grown the spuds in the salted earth of her womb.

That poor kid died ages ago. Biology was just catching up.

I'm glad she no longer needs to suffer.
