I've never been a fan but initially when I discovered him on lolcow, I assumed that at least some of the things they made fun of him about were somewhat exaggerated. The last year or so has proven me wrong. Not only is he just as stupid, weird, and creepy/gross as everyone has always suspected he is -- he's actually worse. He's very likely dangerous.

I used to roll my eyes when people would say he's gonna snap and kill/seriously hurt someone some day (most likely a woman). I've always thought he was a misogynistic creep with Mommy issues, but I didn't think he had it in him to actually kill.

I'm by no means an expert, but I have some academic knowledge of criminal justice and psychology as it relates to violent crime. The last year or so I've started seriously worrying for the kids. Everything about him lately screams impotent rage. His behavior reminds me of Christopher Watts. Just detached, cold, obviously unaware what a fucking sociopath he is.

For those unaware, Christopher Watts is the lovely guy who murdered his wife and 2 toddler children last summer, hiding their bodies in a field and a tank of crude oil at his workplace.

The motive? He was cheating on his wife and, after discovering his texts with his much younger mistress, she was going to divorce him and take the kids. Which was fine with Chris! He gave nary a fuck about the three of them. But divorcing the mother of his two children -- who had just had his 2nd child fairly recently and was a stay-at-home mom who wasn't employed outside the home -- would come with setbacks. He worked on an oil field and made enough for all of them to live very comfortably, but if she divorced him, he'd be forced to pay alimony and child support. Men who cheat on their young, recently pregnant wives tend to not make out well in divorce court, money-wise. Paying alimony and child support was an insult his fragile little ego couldn't take (sound familiar?).

So he murdered his wife and two small children simply so he could keep all the money he made and ride off into the sunset with his young new mistress, and no inconvenient familiar baggage holding him back.

There's bodycam footage of the first cop to encounter the guy and realize he did it -- it's Chris and the cop + a neighbor and a friend who reported his wife missing, all in the same room watching the neighbor's recorded security footage from early that morning, from after he killed his family. He's literally standing next to a cop, watching video of himself move the bodies to his truck at 5am -- after telling the cop he was already at work by then -- and he visibly starts shaking, sweating, freaking the fuck out, making ridiculous excuses. Immediately prior to this scene he's calm as can be, almost bored, texting his mistress while friends frantically search for his wife and children.

It's a fascinating watch. I know Mother Onion isn't speaking to Greg at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled some similar familycide shit and she reacted exactly like Watts' mom: "My poor baaaaaaby!" But no mention of the dead daughter-in-law or grandkids.

However unlike Chris Watts and his wife, Onion and Lainey deserve each other at this point. But my heart breaks for those kids who, at best, will be deeply traumatized and permanently disadvantaged by their horrific upbringing and, at worst, will end up as victims of their father's impotent rage and little man syndrome.

While Onion's current plights are the fault of no one but him and his manwife, he still views himself as a victim. If Lainey gets in any amount of legal trouble over this naked selfie shit -- even if it's a slap on the wrist because she's a woman/mother -- you can bet shit is going to go DOWN at the Swamp Shack. Even if she's not punished by the law, if she becomes reluctant to aid him in his predation of underage girls after this fiasco, she'd better be careful. Not helping him get underage suk-mi means she becomes disposable in his eyes, more so than she already is. Sharing a house with him after that would be genuinely dangerous for her, IMO. Watts is a monster but he did not make enough for them to live comfortably on - the family had filed for bankruptcy just a few years ago and was on the verge of it again due to the wife’s spending and her addiction to MLM scams. It’s believed Shanon changed her name to Sha’nan trying to shake bad debt collectors. In fact they couldn’t even put Sha’nan’s name on the mortgage loan due to her terrible credit and debt. They were told they’d never be approved if she was listed on the loan.

At last count I think it’s been found Sha’nan had bought into no less than 10 different pyramid scams over the years. This is why there were so many videos of her online - they were videos pushing MLM products, esp Thrive. She roped in her kids and Chris into appearing in her videos promoting products and insisted on intending numerous “conferences” for the MLMs that pushed them further into debt. She had just returned from her latest Thrive conference the night she was murdered. They were paying for daycare they couldn’t afford so Sha’nan could “work” all day on her MLM crap.

MLMs are like addictive cults and they make people unbearable to live with and esp make them go broke. They regularly destroy marriages and friendships.

It would also appear Shan’nan had a thing for claiming both her children were sick and creating lots of medical emergencies. Even people who casually knew them heard all about the kids sicknesses and allergies. But it’s questionable anything was really wrong with them. People though the constant medical drama surrounding Shan’nan and the kids was suspicious as fuck. Of course, she also liked to claim that her quack MLM products also cured her fibro and various maladies and allergies on the kids. One big story was about Sha’nan getting upset about her MIL having pecan ice cream in the same house as her daughter - not serving it to her - just having it in the house. She claimed her daughter had a deadly nut allergy yet gave her Thrive products with pine nuts.

Shan’nan pregnancy was a last ditch attempt to keep Chris in check once she knew he was cheating. Shan’nan had alerts sent to her phone via the home security everytime a door access door was opened, so she could track his movements. She found out he was cheating because her nightly check on his CC use showed a meal at a restaurant that must have been for two ppl.

Basically they were two very fucked up people in a very twisted relationship. Watts snapped and murdered his innocent children in cold blood and deserves to rot for the rest of his life. But Shan’nan was not the poor innocent wife that has been portrayed in some media. She was fucked in the head too, and very adept at manipulating and controlling Chris, but at least she wasn’t a psycho child murderer like he ended up being.

I'm not sure of any similarities between Watts and Onion and Lainey. In the Watt's case the wife maintained most of the control in the relationship. Chris was a bit of a yes man, which was a big part of the problem. He seemed to keep things very bottled up, unlike Onion who freely rages all the time.

Lainey was initially a teen victim of Onion. Onion has groomed her to be a mini-version of himself so that she can victimize other girls for him, but he's obviously the one in control. I think, aside from the impregnation fetish, that getting Lainey pregnant twice gave Onion total control over Lainey too. Abusers usually like their wives to have kids because then they can use the kids to control the wife.

This isn't to say that Onion couldn't end up killing Lainey, just that he's a very different type of guy from Chris Watts. I think Onion would have to lose everything and blame Lainey for it to go psycho killer.

She made a patreon with the claim it was for legal fees and travel. She was a small, unknown creator but word got around that she was fundraising to sue Onision and a lot of people gave her money. Of course, she started gaining followers on her channel making vague videos about it all, even allegedly flying to WA for "legal stuff".

If I had to take a guess, I would say it's just Sarah's old stuff. She lived there for years, they are hoarders who constantly buy fast fashion garbage, etc.
From what I remember that's what they did to Billie's belonging after the break up - Billie was willing to pay for the shipping, but they were put in trashbags and "donated" because she "stole" a shirt Lainey gave her.
That's what he did to Lainey's old clothes and wedding dress a few months ago as well.

Though, without seeing the video we can't know for sure.
