Was just about to post this. He at least read out/ summerised what Yaniv tweeted at her first. I'm feeling more optimistic about the state of society now because there's also no one defending Yaniv in the comments either.
 
In a further genius move, Yaniv lies to Cousineau that @Goinglikeelsie's been tweeting during the hearing and in the process reveals that HE'S been on Twitter so... the wifi's cut off.

My picture was a little blurry yesterday but it has the recent topless 12 year old tweet as well as the BC Ferries helping girls with tampons message and the Facebook status about carrying a tazer.

So this is good that bchrt can now see these things.

How in the hell is Jonathan trying to claim waxing is a "public service"? Do they use a different definition of public vs. private in the great big maple leaf than I'm used to? Isn't "public service" meant to imply a government-provided service, as opposed to a private business? Send help.

It's literally impossible for that scooter-borne mental health hazard to suffer that much damage; he'd be totaled at less than a tenth that figure. (Charitably assuming mom would go in the hole a few k to get him back from kidnappers, here.)

"Facebook is a public media website, not a private one. The waxing lady advertised on Facebook. Therefore, it is a public service."

So by his sad excuse for logic any service, company, business, etc that advertises anywhere is public.

So JY Knows It is also a public entity, and thus its founder and sole employee is a public figure. Got it.
 
Because he has no job and no real source of income, a pattern can easily be found of him exploiting and targeting vulnerable minority women in an effort to make a quick buck from these cases. This would get him in big trouble in the states. I’m guessing in Mother Canada that this type of behavior is overlooked and ignored? No... you guys can’t be that bad. It has to be a troon shield.

I think the public/private divide he's referring to is similar to the one that's surfaced in the wedding cake decisions in the U.S.

If you set yourself up as a bakery open to the public, you can't tell gay customers you won't make wedding cakes for them because you bake only for straight weddings.

But if you bake, and don't advertise that to the public or have a storefront that invites the public in, you can choose to refuse requests because of your personal beliefs or preferences even if you've been paid in the past by people who learned you're a good baker and asked you to make their wedding cakes.

Addition: Yaniv may be fending off an argument that because the women were performing the services in their homes or the homes of their clients, the services were private - vs. the public salon-based service where Ally gave Jonathan a Brozillian.

Disclaimer: My only cake law experience has been with the cake and not with the law.
