As for MBP I never liked him so I haven't seen a lot of his videos BUT the ones I did see he always brought up that he was fat because he loved the taste of food. You're right, it is a go-to fatty excuse. Why are there no fat people on The Food Network or PBS etc.? Seriously since Paula Deen got shoved off I can't think of one fatass on that channel. None of the famous chefs are buttertrolls. They all clearly love food, they made it their life's work.

"I like food" is not an excuse or explanation for weighing 500 pounds. He shoved food down his gullet the same way Amberlynn did, I guarantee he was only able to taste like 30% of that volume. And it would seem that he has resumed the practice.

99% of reactors are like this. Bring nothing to the table at all, no humor, dont have anything new or interesting, sometimes even just running the original video for minutes on end without doing anything at all.

We dont want or need this fucking many ALR haters/channels when all of them are so generic and boring and interchangably forgettable. Yawn.

I agree with some of this (his content is inconsistent in quality), but I prefer Alex to some other reaction channels (I’m not picky about reaction channels, tbh I just go for anything just so I don’t have to watch ALR’s boring content alone). He doesn’t really seem to have a superiority/inferiority complex and seems to just be here for the lols. Sometimes he says things where I’m just like “oh wow I was thinking the same thing.”

I hate when he does videos when he’s totally high, though -, his annoying mannerisms get a million times worse.

I said before in this thread that one of the things about Sabine is that she is way, way way too invested/obsessive about Amber. To the point that ALR is overtaking her real life (her words, not mine....she has made MULTIPLE vlogs about how ALR is all-encompassing in her day to day life) and now she is making comments like this on OTHER 'haydurr' channels. The cringiness of it is physically palpable.

I don't fully understand this criticism. You admit to watching Sabine, as well as all the Haydur channels. You're also on the Farms everyday, contributing your own analysis and discussion to all things Amberlynn Reid. I'm not knocking it. I do the same and I enjoy your posts. But there isn't a huge difference between what you do, and what Sabine Davis does. You just prefer to do it with some degree of anonymity.

I can't speak for SP, but I can understand where they're coming from. It circles back to what I and others wrote upthread: one of Sabine's faults is that she constantly tries to show others she's better than Amber. She constantly says that her channel is about growth, spirituality, etc., and yet all of them are bitching about work or Amber. She also criticizes Amber's videos for not being mentally stimulating enough, that she's going to stop watching her, blahblahblah, but then posts up another reaction video a day or two later along with more work-bitching.

Idk if you remember, but her original justification for this was that she was using Amber as an example for what not to be; especially since she felt that Amber's videos were forced onto her by YouTube and therefore a ~sign~. In reality, she probably stumbled upon Amber the same way most others did: looking up weightloss/weight-related videos. Sabine tries too hard to seem wise and saintly. Amber's taken a more central role in her life than Sabine is willing to admit. On KF, most of us are catty bitches who want to laugh at a trainwreck. We admit that. She pretends that she's using Amber as an example, and yet she hates her, and that Amber's a stain in her life. But like...just walk away from it, then. Amber's not that relevant that Sabine needs to make an example out of her for the sake of the nation or whatever. She shouldn't be making FB groups and incorporate her more into her life. It's laughable.

That being said, I still enjoy Sabine. But she needs to either admit that she likes the attention she gets from making Amber content instead or go back to her old style of videos instead of complaining 24/7.

I don't watch Sabine TOO often, sometimes her videos are alright, but sometimes she comes off as being in way in over her head and/or going in too deep or taking things too seriously or too far.

Being on the Farms "every day" also is not anywhere NEAR the same thing as investing time, effort, and energy into running and maintaining a Youtube channel and creating videos and Reaction vlogs. It takes less than a minute of time once or twice in a day to scribble down a random thought and post it, in passing, on your phone while you are are out and about doing other things. Making 20+ minute long videos and editing them, rendering, having upload schedules, writing scripts for yourself if you are that kind of channel, etc is a LOT more of your life that you put in. I'm not knocking that either, but I'm just saying. I spend about ten minutes on the Farms a day, maybe, total. And I barely think about it in general.

I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers and I hope I'm not coming off as cunty cause that's not my intention - but it feels like you might be a Sabine fan and you just might not like that she is catching some flack over here? It's fine my pal...not everyone is going to totally be in love with everyone else and every single Youtube/reactor lol. I mean - I enjoy Jet Austin and The Youtube Underground and lord knows they aren't popular on the Farms hahaha.
 
Echoing @Keyboard Warrior One of the reasons powerleveling is frowned upon here is because we're anonymous so there's no reason to compare yourself to her. No one cares if you say Amberlynn weighs five times as much as you because, who are you?

But if you put yourself out there on a youtube channel, your viewers are going to be curious about you; if you don't make the comparisons they will. It's not like here, where no one knows who you are and no one wants to know.

Of course that doesn't mean we can't laugh at youtubers for powerleveling. I just don't find it strange that they do.

And Sabine is still boring af

Reading, and commenting on kiwi farms is like watching a trashy reality show and shit talking the show in a group chat with your buds. It takes zero effort. It's mindless, effortless, gossipy, zero IQ entertainment.

Filming, uploading, and creating a channel for the reality show is different in the aspect that your creating a commentary channel and adhering to an audience for feedback. You're no longer just trash talking some show with a bunch of pals. You're taking that show, and incorporating it into your own little commentary show and cultivating an audience. The dynamic is different. It takes a lot more investment to run a channel featuring yourself to an audience - than it does to shit post on a group chat.

No feathers have been ruffled, my friend. I assure you. 💛 Just an observation. I'm actually not a huge fan of Sabine, but I do enjoy some of her commentary and she seems like a nice lady. We could arguably say that every reaction channel that invests time filming, editing and uploading video content is a little TOO invested.

But I also think you could replace Amber with any other shit stain on humanity, and it wouldn't matter. People come back because they enjoy the sense of community, and commiserating with other frustrated people.

It's ironically the only GOOD that's come out of this 600 lb saga. Everyone BUT Amber has lost weight and made friends. lol

And just to clarify, I wasn't talking about Sabine specifically, I definitely do think that every Reaction/Hater channel is investing far far more of their lives and effort into ALR by maintaining a Youtube platform and filming, editing, making videos about her on a regular basis, than any Farmer who just writes a quick post to point and laugh at the trainwreck and then gets on with their fucking day. Its true of literally anyone, regardless of who is funny and who sucks and who any of us enjoy and who any of us hate. Hahaha.
Sometimes a 20 minute Youtube video could have been like, 3 or 4 hours of that person's life, depending on how much work they put in.

Totally agree with you on your second point. ALR is definitely not the only Lolcow in the field, so to speak.

the charging for tarot readings comes from some site/app she signed up for where you can charge people for readings but she made an account for it...never actually used it/charged anyone for readings. But yeah other than that she's very much into horoscopes & tarot
