It's not just the go fund me. They clearly want to knock out Kiwi Farms and Doxx all the Doxxers. Thus shutting down all the research that has been done exposing them.

For them to pull ALL of these ridiculous stunts is EXTREMELY uncommon. One or two in a court case, sure. But this shit is ridiculous. I've never seen a court case go this stupid, this hard, for this long, with No Slowing Down. I don't know how they have the energy to keep this up.

For God's sake, even Mark Waid hasn't acted this exceptional. Think about that. These people are making human marshmallow man Mark Waid seem semi-reasonable.

Observe, as #kickvic goes out of their way to open multiple people to the harassment that they feared for themselves and actively complained about themselves for absolutely no reason (if not inherently, then by virtue of this batch subpoena being itself unnecessary).

That Vic's mum was called in this notice is bad enough, and Marzgurl already had her sights set on her for some nonsense reasons, but it would appear that they're really trying to get Percy Tyrone "I swore to his mom that I wouldn't let them destroy their son" Beard to Broly them all.
 
They're completely muddying the waters because they know they have nothing to back up the actual charges being brought against them. If they had such solid evidence they've been claiming for months now they wouldn't give a shit about his GFM or Nick's streams. They're desperate to stop Vic's lawsuit any way they can. I remember a time where they wanted everything out in the public. Now they just want it all to go away. Come on guys....lets get it all out in the open :) :) :)

Casey can't cry about protecting muh wimmins now that troonez is out there sharing this around with people's social media handles attached to it. Good luck painting one side as ebul doxxxxxxers when one of the defendant's biggest fans is as they like to say "dogwhistling" who to target with harassment next. If Vic was still thinking of forgiving MoRon, going after his mom friends is a good way to get a man to leave you in a smoldering crater of debt and shame.

I'm curious on what grounds they base these requests on and what in particular they're looking for, the more I think about it the more I think this is their last stand before they run out of money or options.

Why would they? They're better than us, they blocked us on twitter, and besides, they own our anime and can fuck it up at will. They won at life. They're the beautiful people, and we are all but motes of dust in their eyes.

That, and they've definitely crossed the Rubicon. They either win -- which in this case means winning the lawsuit, proving Vic is a sex rapist pedophile who steals jellybeans, getting Nick disbarred, divorced, and homeless, forcing all the Weeb Wars youtubers offline forever, doxing and shutting down the Farms, and getting everyone at BHBH disbarred -- or they become the villains. And they can't be the villains, their ideology doesn't allow it. So, they'll double down until they're forced to stop, likely because they run out of money.

Honestly the money is probably running low, but I am betting the bigger thing is that Monica's reputation has taken a major nose dive. This is not how they planned for things to go. People were suppose to shun Vic while seeing monica as some sort of survivor to propel her career. This has gotten the opposite results and now they want this to go away so she can attempt to recover her reputation somehow. Cannot do that while this whole thing is happening.

She went from relatively unknown to now known as toxic

They have to file for leave to do it.

The rule is this:

(c) Except as provided by Section 27.006(b), on the filing of a motion under this section, all discovery in the legal action is suspended until the court has ruled on the motion to dismiss.

And the exception is this:

Sec. 27.006. EVIDENCE. (a) In determining whether a legal action should be dismissed under this chapter, the court shall consider the pleadings and supporting and opposing affidavits stating the facts on which the liability or defense is based.

(b) On a motion by a party or on the court's own motion and on a showing of good cause, the court may allow specified and limited discovery relevant to the motion.

This is specific and relevant to the motion how? It's the very definition of a wide ranging fishing expedition with no basis for it but REEEEE REEE the plaintiff isn't allowed to have money. This is a non-starter, it's itself frivolous. Look how it worked for Gawker whining that Peter Thiel bankrolled Hulk Hogan to curb stomp them. The court isn't going to give a shit.

Does the stay of discovery freeze all discovery, period, or only for the movant and plaintiff (in this case Funimation and Vic), while MoRon and Marchi still have to produce their stuff?
