As far as the internet is concerned he is either the shitty lets player or "that guy" and it is hard near impossible to change that. Phil the person could improve. If he is forced to leave the loveseat, get a real job, and reenter society it may do him some good. If he kept streaming while working, something plenty of people do, remembering what human interaction is supposed to be like could nudge the streams closer to the chill fun vibe he has deluded himself into thinking he already has.

More likely it would just increase his bitterness from going from the top, in his mind anyway, to (insert entry level position here.) Judging by his track record his job performance wasn't anything great and adding 10 years of solitary can't do you any favors. If he would still stream he couldn't help but bitch about coworkers and employers which some autist would clip and email in a heartbeat.

I notice he gets flustered and staggers his voice sometimes when people in stream chat make an excellent point and catch him on something. He recognizes a real threat and doesn't know how to respond to it on the fly. If you are called a "stupid moron" or something close to that, you know you've done something right. Followed swiftly by a warning or a ban.

The other night when he was in a foul mood, he ignored someone by the name "badbunndy" in chat innocently informing Phil about the cherry juice myth in treating gout. When Phil was forced to address ignoring the tip, badbunndy responded back "Excuse me sir. You ignored my tip.". Which was followed by an insult and lean-in ban. No gratitude for someone who donates money to him, rewarded with a public insult and ban.

IMO the biggest reason that Phil is so endlessly watchable is that he quite often does something so awful or ridiculous or shady that it reboots this whole excellently described process in our brains. We settle into the routine, and then the taxes to move the girl in or the surprise wedding or the great debunking happen, and we're right back to DENIAL. "No way he'd do that, it's too crazy and too obviously manipulative." And then we're back in until we just accept that he's really that bad, until the next drama.

If you are referring to the "I Hate Skeletons" merchandise I would assume he had trouble with some skeletons in some game long ago and then tried to force it to be a positive meme.

If you are referring to "Look at my Skeletons, Bitch" that is something completely different.

Pretty sure it was his Demon's Souls playthrough. There's some giant spinning wheel composed of skeletons that ran him over repeatedly iirc.

"LOOK AT MY SKELETONS BITCH" he does have a habit of hating tractor memes but loving them once he puts his own phil spin on it (but if you dare use the original version of the meme thats fucking blasphemy in the court of phil)

I've been trying to find the segment I'm thinking of but I only have 0utsyder's mirror of SQ's TIHYDP to go by and I'm too fucking lazy and drunk to flip through and find it. If I'm remembering right he pretty much jumped on it right away and tried to Milhouse the meme, drumming on and on about "if there's anything I hate it's skeletons, oh God more skeletons", etc., etc.

It was cancer.

That's so on point it's scary. I was stuck on number 1 for months. Sometimes, I still feel that way. It's just so hard to believe someone like this guy exists.

i don't blame you, i love the milk this cow gives us but its a hassle to flip through every inane piece of shit phil spews at the screen in a vain attempt to be funny and relevant

As someone who drinks on a semi-regular basis, Phil is absolutely 100% drunk doing this stream. His voice, his slurred speech, his half assed laugh, etc all things drunk people do. Phils drink of choice is gin AFAIK which is 80 proof and considering Phil is a middle age nobody who never moves around it takes him 4 or so shots to really start feeling it. Imagine being a manchild who drinks to cope with their videogame streams LMAO.
 
Another slow night stream, just over 3/4 way through

Total tip: $18

CodeCastiel apparently has to clock out because he has to work his 9 to 5 job in 6.5 hours so that he has enough crumbs to feed his pet pig DSP and maintain that 3rd place Cheerer spot

Hey @CodeCastiel is it worth being sleep-deprived for your (I'm assuming given the day) retail shift to stay up and throw money you work hard for at someone who repeatedly shits on you? If you're into findom there's about a thousand extremely attractive women willing to do exactly the same thing and they're much easier to look at and listen to than Phil.
