Wow, that's 6-7 cases per year. For those more legally inclined, is this a lot for a solo practice firm? I'd assume so, but I also don't know if this number includes ones that settle out of courts or something.

Keep in mind the count doesn't include open criminal cases. As a sop to fake privacy, a general search by name or attorney won't show open criminal cases in MNCIS--you can only get them if you know the case number. So whatever criminal cases he currently has going won't show up in that count.

Also remember that sometimes lawsuits never get fired, but the lawyer racks up time discussing settlement and consultation. That said, Nick being absolutely correct about anything he's theorized on and Ty's compliments are more validation for Nick's qualifications than any number of criminal cases he's worked, at least in my opinion.

Looking at the cases, he does a wide variety of stuff. Which says to me he probably does a lot of non-litigation lawyering, too. Writing wills, drafting contracts, and closing real estate transactions don't show up as court files, but they do pay and they do keep the doors open.

ETA: He looks like a true "small town" lawyer who does a little bit of everything. Probably does a lot of referrals to more specialized attorneys, too. Hard way to make a living, but it can be rewarding.

You know, I was thinking about killing myself tonight... but I think I will stay alive long enough to hear the stream Nick just teased for tomorrow. :P

Not at all. It's fairly light. Obviously it depends on how involved the specific cases are, but for normal criminal defense it is not. If I had to defend against a criminal case myself, though, I'd rather have someone who didn't have a cookie cutter practice cranking out one case after another with the bare minimum of effort.

That's just sad!
So freakin' petty.

Like @BoxofMonkeys said,
@ShortRound, you, unfortunately, may have to legit end your Fear The Beard patches (keep them on ice, though).
Does not mean the other patches aren't good. Also, take solace that your patches are more relevant than Duck Commander.
Incoming "Cuck Commander" patches in the works now.

Ah Nick? Ya think that maybe it has to so with SJWs going after TUG and others for trademark infringement?

HOW did you miss the obvious here?

Edit - OK, you got it. Faith restored

I'm almost certain this is some variety of ratfuckery. Someone just did a trademark search and reported him to the registered representative, because it isn't like the Cuck Dynasty guys have been going after other people for the literally hundreds of other "Fear the Beard" items you can find on a simple Google search.

renfamous bought the KamehaCon ticked AFTER Vic was coming back to KamehaCon, she only bought it to complain about how she wasn't going anymore
