Why yes Princess, Nick pointed Vic in the direction of a good Texas Attorney when asked. It is a common practice among lawyers and other professionals. It is extremely common among Medical professionals, where normal sane people not being used for Medical Experiments will get a “referral” from one doctor to another.
And by any objective measurement Nick’s advice served Vic well. I only pray some kind soul gives you a well thought out recommendation for legal council when it is your turn in the shooting gallery, rather than you just picking one off a billboard. Because you know it’s coming.

Yes, you dumb cunt, that's how it works! He swears he din du nuffin, the court goes by that and the accusers have to prove he did it. God, these people are so fucking stupid, it makes me doubt myself and this case and wonder if types like Ron and Rial are so faux-smug not because they're trying to appear confdient, but because they genuinely have something nuclear to eviscerate Vic with.

That's your problem right there. they aren't thinking. They arrived at a predetermined conclusion and feel reality will bend to it.
They feel Vic is guilty. So they feel this case has no legs, so they make up imaginary scenarios and pretend like they know what they're talking about. They act coy and well-informed. They say that "this is it?" like there aren't other lawsuits coming. Despite the fact that Ty has said again, and again, and again that there are more coming, but they ignore that. They assume victory. they don't realize they are stark naked for anybody with an iota of critical thought. They sneer at the requests for evidence. They flat-out missed the fact that we WANT the details of these investigations to be put into evidence, but that won't stop them from laughing as if they won something when they say "HA NOW THIS HAS TO GO INTO EVIDENCE, BET THEY DIDN'T THINK ABOUT THAT!!" -- yeah no shit Sherlock. It was literally demanded BY VIC'S lawyer. THAT is how strong Vic's innocence is.
They Arrive, Feel, Make up, Pretend, Act, Say, Ignore, assume, fail to realize, sneer, miss facts, and laugh
But there is absolutely NO thought whatsoever in any of it.

I mean, that's possible in theory if there's evidence or the accusation is concrete. Like, say, if Vic's accused of stuffing his hands in the roastbeef sandwhich that is Monica Rial on 53th of Decembriary 2001, at 5PM, in a hotel room. By showing photo of himself with a fan taken at 4:59, Vic could prove that he was way, way too far to be sticking anything into Monica's hole. Or if someone suspiciously alike Vic was seen stuffing his hand in the roastbeef sammich, him being elsewhere at the time proves his innocence.
That's not what he's accused of though, he's accused of harassing over a hundred unknown womyn, robbing fans and eating beans.

He sells pro-masculinity self help books and used to sell books on juicing (juice diet / juice fast). He was very very briefly involved with GamerGate mostly of the "point at the SJWs and marvel at how batshit they are" variety.
