The reason it caught my eye is the exact same thing was being handed around on /pol/ that afternoon like it was some major revelation that Jacinta Arden was now a socialist. (It was a major issue for non-reds during her election as Labour leader in kiwi land.) Just another example of lazy sourcing from the only Romanian flag on /pol/ >_<
 
What makes Veeh so hard to dislike? I don't get it.

Veeh is like that kid in school that your friends with because you realize that he has no friends and is basically going to be an under achiever all his life, and your friendship to him actually means something because even though you don't expect him to change, you offer him some sense of normalcy and the opportunity to always try.

He has managed to do the one thing most lolcows cannot do, he listened to Metokur when he told him to stop sperging about his cow thread. Plus he's less smug than people like Sargon when he expresses his views.
 
When he's not sperging drama, he actually makes good videos about politics, albeit with some cringy sense of humor. He also seems to provide an objective perspective of Eastern Europe, a region many forget is also Europe. Some things he said were quite informative during the peak of the whole Russhan Colushan

There is also the thing on how he's honest about what he is, no more, no less: he straightforwardly will tell you to give you money and have no problem ebegging. Some people disguise that like we haven't realized.

It's nice how he very bluntly puts out the very blunt eastern euro perspective. As opposed to the socialist/altruistic central/western perspective, Vee is very up front and honest with his typical "you got stolen from? why would you tell me that, now I'll have to try to steal from you too!" attitude

I wonder just how many times Don Sargone has been burned by that attitude over the years

Oh he's as much of a shit stain as Carl. The reason why people don't hate him is because he's not as dense as Carl and he has better tact. But he is a fucking snake, if you go back over the drama you'll find plenty of instances where he performs plenty of pilpul and he has an almost uncanny ability to convincingly spew bullshit. Also he is very fucking thin skinned and duplicitous theres a reason why he comes across as repulsive at times.

Honestly the more I think about it, he's either this deeply emotionally immature person or a fucking sociopath.
 
There is another thing: Veeh owns the fact he can be shitty sometimes. You know, I have more respect for a person who tells you "I could stab you in the back if that's good for me" than for someone who claims to be loyal and then goes and does so.

ETA: he's not a sociopath. He seems to have lived in a time where people couldn't afford be sympathetic to others, not differnet from what happens now in Venezuela (although not as severe).
