I can't imagine she would actually be working for a Japanese company. They're pretty strict about how they work, and from my own experience, its a bit more difficult to bullshit your way (since they're not going to buy into her oppressed women in gaming narrative).

Maybe she is working for a western company? Or she could be doing some sort of research or marketing work.

I can count on one hand the number of white people who work directly with/at NCL. Nintendo is a very prestigious company in Japan, they don’t let anyone in there especially not a slut, indie dev who’s only released “games” are dumpster fires. The only people who travel there from the US are also fluent Japanese speakers that have legitimate reasons to be there.

Nintendo has indie dev managers in Redmond, they would be interacting with the indie’s business manager not the “writer”.
 
Has anyone ever realized that this chick is essentially Aileen Wuornos? The only thing missing is the murder. The psychopathy, manipulation and string of sad-sack suitors all check out.

And if it means culling the soy herd, I am all for her going "Full Wuornos".

Remember, Alison Rapp used to work for Nintendo and worked on the team translating some of their biggest games.

Granted, she worked for the American branch, but she still worked there and got to go on trips to Japan.

With Dylan Cuthbert I meant that he runs his own small company in Japan, Q-Games, they make the PixelJunk games. At the time of the wedding picture he and others worked for Argonaut and lived in Japan while designing the SuperFX chip and creating StarFox. He's an indie, haven't had anything to do with Nintendo in 25 years.

Oh, there's also 8-4 Play, they're in Japan and doing localization with a bunch of westerners working for them.
It performs Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese translation and localization on a contract basis with credits including Monster Hunter, Nier, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, Tales, Undertale and more.

To Alison's credit, she was an honors student with a master's degree in communications and she spoke some Japanese. While both she and Chelsea went full r-tard on GG, Ali's qualifications are miles and miles beyond Chelsea's.

8-4 has been known to censor or insert trash tier memes in their work. They have plenty of spergs and for the most part require a proper leash and beating to not go off script.

I think quite a few of their Western employees were anti-GG and even convinced Yoko Taro that Leslie Jones did nothing wrong - IE wasn't being a total bitch - and Galbusters is worth seeing, no idea if he has since discarded their opinions after seeing the movie.

I'm going with this, I think Zoe just wants to take a vacation to Japan but chooses to label it as work. Zoe likes to mention how she's working on tons of different projects at once and give the impression she is a significantly bigger deal than she is, so she can't just take a simple vacation, it has to be her flying around the globe to work on an exotic project. When she is legitimately working on something, she is just as happy to brag about it and drop at least some vague details about it.

I'll acknowledge it's possible she is legit doing something and is under NDA so she can't brag yet, but I'm struggling to think of a job she's qualified for that requires her to be there in person for a week or two once every 6 to 8 months, or however long it was since her last trip. But then again, it's a struggle to think of any job she's qualified for in general, so who knows.

Didn't they also do translations and the documentary for Mighty No 9? I think they might've also did Azure Striker Gunvolt, aka the reason why a character was referred to as "xe".

Alison rapp aworked for NOA not NCL. NOA’s treehouse is one big circlejerk/sjw heaven, that’s where she worked.

Zoe’s getting indie work through her connections and various friends that can stomach her attitude and mediocre work product.

Difference between Aileen Wuornos and Zoe though is that Aileen had a super fucked up abusive childhood and was pushed into a life of prostitution by her lesbian lover, while Zoe was just a generic sociopathic grifter/whore that by all accounts had normal non-abusive parents, who went off into the world once she graduated high school to do evil and line her pockets.

If lefty game journalists admitted that her kickstarter games were scams, that Rebal Jam isn't happening, then gamergate was right and they can't allow that. I don't know game journalists as a whole don't just cut their losses but the law of sunk costs is a bitch, and if individual journalists go rogue they will be blacklisted, cast out, and whatever dirt the clique has on them will be revealed.

If you're late to all of this, I think it might worth noting that Anita Sarkeesian is pretty much gone. She once got hundreds of thousands, if not millions of views per video, but is now barely breaking a thousand views. Most of Quinns supporters have either been arrested for sexual assault, or have been told to Learn to Code.

In the scheme of things, Blowy Zoe has only a small fraction of the attention she had roughly five years ago. We’re probably the only site on the internet that still talks about her on a somewhat regular basis. Unlike Anita, Zoe was just smart enough to not saddle herself with a tranny and an obese negress.

She has a few bridges left to burn but compare her now to in 2015 when fawning articles about her being the future of women were getting churned out on a regular basis. She’s fallen a long ways since that time.

If Anita had any sense of how to properly run an online career and be good at it (spoilers: she doesn't) she would ditch the black walrus and the shemale and come crawling back to Cuckintosh to beg him to make her successful again because quite clearly he was the brains of the outfit. But she's obviously not going to do that.
