Oh damn, Morrow's going. He's got a lot of fangirls from what I can tell (and I bet a lot of his fangirls are KickVic, just a feeling I have). Probably a good thing Sean's not going, he'd throw another fit and try to get the dreamboat Goku and the only reason anyone likes InuYasha, for Miroku thrown off the panel.

The one I'm talking about had a serious mental illness, and she had a breakdown on the stand while testifying. So they jailed her to ensure she'd testify at re-trial (rather than, I dunno, helping her get mental health treatment). Then the Sheriff fucked up the paperwork and jailed her as the perpetrator of a rape, and put her in general population. Made international news.

Name was Jenny. The prosecutor was Devon Anderson. Happened in Harris County. Anderson lost her re-election campaign. The whole thing was pretty disgusting.

The point is: Nick is right. Regardless of whether they use plea bargains, or more insidious methods, prosecutors don't give a fuck about rape victims if they can get another notch in their gun.

KickVic is just girding themselves to have an explanation ready for when none of of the women mentioned in the ANN/iO9 article are gonna end up testifying. The 30 gorillion aren't gonna be paraded before the court because 1) Most or all of them are full of shit, 2) It's entirely irrelevant to the lawsuits Vic will be filing.

Also, I made a mistake in reporting. The woman in the video going to jail was a domestic abuse victim who didn't show up at a court date and was sent to jail for contempt of court, not a rape victim. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

I remember seeing him at another con. There was a FMA panel, and the subject was brought up of some of the panelists' characters, the Homunculi. The tangent got diverted to hotsprings, and he quipped "Homunculus Hotsprings... I should change my grindr profile to that!"
