If he and shemmel walk though, that would pretty much prove the whole harassment so I don't think he is dumb enough to do that. so he's just asking his cronies to walk

It gets even more unfortunate if in discovery there happen to be twitter DMs between him and any of those people, as worthless as they are, where he encourages them to break any contract that they might have.

It would be even more stupid if they all held their own little event together. Put them all together like that and the amount of aggrandizing and virtue signaling will reach critical mass. It would be unfortunate if someone who went their recorded it all, because you know they'll be slandering Vic.

Going to the convention was the best out for them. If anyone gave them grief, they could just say that they're contractually obligated to and really don't want to do it. You can tell that some of those idiots don't have a lawyer yet.

I think they're hoping that if enough them walk the whole event will just fall apart, outside of the cosplay thot all of them have ties in some manner to Funimation.

I wonder what happened to the sponsorship from Soye's mortgage company? Surely they wouldn't bother sponsoring an event his fiance is no longer a part of?

TL;DR

As much as it would hurt them all more in the long run if they got taken to court over this, I would much prefer if they ran back their decisions when they realize Sabat and Funimation aren't gonna bail them out. Could you imagine the humilation of having to delete those tweets and clarify that they will be going to the convention?

Yep, and with the community here as it is, literally everything posted is effectively peer reviewed in real time. I'm still new here, and joined in just so I could help point and laugh where applicable and maybe offer observations that might be more obvious to me than everyone else, but I've witnessed people claiming things that couldn't be verified and getting BTFO pretty quickly WITH counterpoint that demonstrates why those things are wrong. Information that survives here is exponentially more reliable than any other source I could think to point to.
