About that. Is there a screenshot? I thought she posted one.

Got a message from Nick suggesting we need to pay close attention to the date.
If she did I hope there is an archive. The only thing I can find on her twitter is talking about pensacon back in feb.

There's at least five of them at any moment for thirty years at this point. They should probably have a better CV than that mix of not-even-Hollywood-Squares (and the chick from the zombie show) if it's that much of a starmaking powerhouse.

But it is. Rose McIver for example has been going up gangbusters, because she's a household name on The CW with iZombie.

Even before that, she was further ingraining herself into the household with Once Upon a Time, and Masters of Sex.
A cursory look at her roles confirms this.

That's the formula, no matter how you spin it.

The same applies to everyone else named, as well as other child stars and VAs:

Mae Whitman, Ashley Johnson, JYB, Zac Callision, Jeremy Shada (who stole/inherited a VA role meant for his brother), Brandon Soo Hoo, Shamiek Moore, both Deschanel sisters, practically any cast member of an HBO/ Showtime/Primetime cable/Premium Cable & Streaming series and especially 80% of the younger cast members of a long-runner like Shameless US;

There's way too many names to name that do this across every film/tv stable. The power isn't just in the franchise, it's in the brand recognition and the pedigree.

You pay your dues with early work and maybe a couple of toku/gimmick/sketch comedies/sitcoms, you diversify quietly, and next thing you fucking know " those two guys from Incredible Crew" are now industry go-to pick up vocal talents in the bay area for CN animation products and the other is top billing of "Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse" after proving that he has the chops to carry himself as a "dramatic" actor in "Dope" and "The Get Down".

Is it any stranger/stronger/weaker/dismissive than the meteoric rise of Daniel Glover as a stand-up comedian then diversifying into a music artist and then a executive producer of his own syndicated shows and projects?

Or of Jordan Peele going from a member of a sketch comedy group, to a iconic sketch comedy duo, to a award winning director and screenwriter?

There's billions of talents that get launched like this, PR just happens to be one of the more direct lines, in terms of "childrens' media."

What, exactly, does she have to fear?

Guards and multiple attendees are coming. Even Vic's lawyer, Ty, is planning to go to support Vic, I think.

What the fuck do you mean "concerns about your safety"?

Well looks like kahmacon is going to be a dumpster fire. Geekdom was super excited for this and promoted it like crazy in his videos. You think his gonna go after nick for this? :story:

I think we're agreeing that Power Rangers can help you get to a level, but we're on different pages about how much that level matters. Those examples aren't really that big as far as actors go. It's more than waiting tables sure but it's still fairly small potatoes in the grand scheme of Hollywood. With the aforementioned possible exception of zombie chick.
