I will give her the benefit of the doubt because social media and the progressive mindset wasn't as much a thing back then and she might have had a more level head on her shoulders. The assault she faced was most likely actual assault.

I hate to be the one saying this, but her track record shows a tendency towards a culture of bullshit callouts. That, combined with the vaunted role of the victim in the modern liberal arts college (let's just say that regret > rape is a very real thing)... I'm not saying that we shouldn't offer the benefit of the doubt, I'm saying that the actions of her and her peers have pretty much shown why THEY don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Sony will probably put more resources into Funimation due to its overall shift to the western market. This will probably mean more Californians, more botched dubs and more insane drama. Sony is completely incapable of reigning in the stupidity.
