10 years, many consoles, hundreds of games and his controllers are still haunted. When will these developers and controller manufacturers stop directly hindering Dave? It's starting to make him look bad at games man.

Oh man, besides his 'soul mate' talks about she's the perfect thing to enter his life, has he made any mention of their relationship really needing to be cemented in Washington? I can't imagine what he'd do if she left him because he had to move back to Connecticut.

Hey, at least she pays for Netflix while he covers Hulu. I wonder what else they go dutch on.
 
His 12 hour marathon is going to be him playing games in 2 hour segments, take 15 min breaks regularly and have a sandwich break!
So 1+ hour prestream, 15x6 min breaks 1.5 hours, eating break... roughly 30-40 min... so about 9 hours of streaming, though i have a feeling that it will be less since he will need to swap the games and that can't be done during breaks and such.

Time might be wendsday the 20th, 10 am to 10 pm!

First week of april will be his special birthday week event and it will be his last chance to raise any money for the taxes since he will travel to CT either the 2nd or 3rd week of april.
So nothing is planned for his trip, his parents are just suddently going to buy him a ticket and find a hotelroom for him?

The banks are in the business of minimum payments, as long as his income stays at $80k+ they're happy to tard cum him at +25% rates even if it means he saddles on more debt. They also should know that he has two places under his name so he's got equity behind his name too. He's a good enough risk to add on to their books and actually charge more in interest since he's a lower credit score. For those not familiar, to offset the risk creditors will charge more in interest even though it may seem counter intuitive - all that matters is that their whole portfolio of debtors is paying more in interest than the bank loses in overall charge off %.

I've seen others mention this, but in short Phil is treating his credit cards like a reverse savings account. If he can't pay a statement balance oh well, maybe next month. The fact that he has higher minimum payments is really off he's either really loading them up and having to pay a larger % minimum balance or his credit score is significantly falling enough that his variable rates have increased. This is also why some may be inclined to think he has money stashed anywhere... he's simply piling his expenses on now to pay them later.

A few days back (maybe even a week or two ago) I tuned in for a true & authentic Italian prestream and I could've sworn I heard him refer to the minimum payment increase and immediately afterwards say "that's all that free money gone". As in he basically thinks lines of credit are free money (so long as he repays it).

While I wouldn't bet my skin on him having said that without video proof there are plenty of other examples of him saying dumb shit when it comes to finance. I'm sure I've seen video of him from way back saying he was aiming to take out credit cards and repay them in order to secure greater lines of credit.

Anyway, all of this is already well known. Its not really like pulling more unfortunate quotes from his mouth serves any further purpose at this point, because its already well established he either has no idea of how money works or that he has no respect for how money works. We're talking about a guy who "downgraded" from his leased BMW to a payment plan for a brand new Toyota.

The tax audit and state taxes are really just a convenient scapegoat for someone who has repeatedly made terrible decisions and ended up using credit cards the way they're designed to be used. You might say to yourself "but that's not how they're designed to be used!" but you're not a bank, the bank makes more profit from someone who is exactly like DSP.

I'd like to be able to say he only makes terrible financial decisions but this subforum is enough proof that he makes terrible decisions in every other department such as diet, moderating, choosing games, choosing which battles to fight and so on.

When it comes to financial education, everyone knows all the literature is already out there but not every human was destined to be autistic and for someone like DSP who can't even keep track of what video games he enjoys he's probably made it far further in life that he was ever destined to.

I really doubt he has bundles of cash stowed away in his mare's authentic Italian saddle and that the final chapter of DSP will be short, sharp and bittersweet. His final chapter is something that is slowly yet steadily creeping up and will reveal itself very soon. There is no way he is making enough bank currently to repay what he owes.

All of the details people like to point out like keeping track of income, autotracking tips and cheers, auto bill payments and so on would make DSP change from what he is into a person who actually understands finance. If that were the case then he/we probably wouldn't have this subforum.

I've said it so many times, but I'll repeat it again: DSP is the bank's favorite kind of customer.

Honestly I think you're giving Kat too much credit. I think the cardinal sin for D$P is that he has too much pride. This is the most common theme from the beginning of his days on the internet. He was never the guy that was bending over backwards financially for women, but he was for his own pride. Phil is not having kids, his legacy is tarnished, but he believes his pride is intact. Why is that?

"I did nothing wrong".

Those four words are the backbone of D$P's self confidence and his image of himself. In his mind he was screwed over by forces out of his control and he has absolved himself of any wrongdoing. That is the source of what keeps him going, keeps him begging. Giving up that house is a ADMISSION that he could not keep the ship together, and he did not have his final victory. Put yourself in his mind, he knows Youtube is over, he knows he is not popular on Twitch, but he can still eek out an income. He wants to ride out into the sunset on his horse with minimal debt, in a house purchased with money from his Youtube stardom. The reality is, if that ever comes true, he will only be there off the backs of young kids, disabled people, and their collective allowances, be that from the government or their own parents.
 
If your partner is bedridden due to being sick and you wake them up and make them cook for you, yeah you're probably an abusive partner.
