Oh boy, the Wind Waker play through. That was the one where Arin admits to throwing his crazy pills into a lake while abroad? Or was that Dan, I forget.
 
Glad there's a thread on Hanson, he shares so many attributes with other cows. I'm pretty sure I was in middle school when I was introduced to his Awesome cartoons, and high school when GG started. It sucks that a funny guy from the NG era has turned into an LA guy but hey, I guess that just makes him the next generation of Maddox.

Arin's genuine anger has been a problem for a while now, can't remember which game it was but in a 4chan thread somebody mentioned that Ross checked up on Arin in another room and came back on mic noticeably affected. This is probably the lynch pin for all the apparent falling outs that happen in his circle (several are mentioned in the Suzy thread).

GG was something very special before Jon left, two great internet comedians that seemed to have good chemistry together. I remember so many moments and lines, and the show just felt sort of genuine. I know even early on, Jon mentioned some kind of investor meeting, but the content was still very much gamer focused and only became more normie/sjw after Jon left.

Now it's just a bunch of middle aged people playing games and having guests like actors and writers instead of guys who worked on classic games like Grant Kirkhope.

Oh yes, I fully support the idea of trying to turn Egoraptor into a lolcow.

Because I am a total troll to the Game Grumps. I'm like their version of Hirtes. I don't do it every week but I always make posts about how they just keep churning out more and more "Grump Garbage."

All it is is a fucking Lets Play show. Lets Play's have been a pointless part of internet culture for over a decade before the Grumps entered the picture.

Its one of the most unoriginal gaming shows ever put on Youtube.

Jon Tron was lucky he was able to escape.

Yeah. There’s such a stark contrast between Arin then and him now. I still didn’t care for him, but at least he was more normal and didn’t act like a weirdo.
This thread should’ve happened sooner because looking at this man’s Twitter is really no different than looking at your average thread here. Specifically one you’d find in the Beauty Parlor or Tumblr board.
 
Game Grumps died the moment JonTron left the show.

Arin leads a flock of corpses and lies. That fucking thing he has with him now is not JonTron and it never will be.

Tbh even before Jontron left there were signs of the degeneracy creeping in given the rumors I have heard about the so called "goofball incident"...

Unfunny old copypastas aside, frankly I think at this point that degeneracy is the natural consequence of taking oneself too seriously and seeing oneself as some kind of moral authority, since when you get to the point of thinking yourself morally perfect no matter what you say or do there aint nothing to stop you from happily embracing all the sick and twisted shit you can think of, because hey, if you are doing it its obviously ok!

As I recall Jon wasn't afraid to call Arin out on his bullshit opinions and lack of any skill. Dan doesn't know much about video games outside of old NES titles and just goes along with Arin's lowbrow humor. It's amazing how two people who really, really suck at video games continue to be popular let's players.

I see a lot of those "This is how you don't play" videos got posted about them. They're pretty good, if long and drawn out. I think this guy managed to capture the essence of Arin's incompetence much better.
