I'm not reading all this because even my :autism: has some limits, but by all indications this is just some standard turn-the-crank philosophy of language. Despite the "hot take" title, it's more or less a discursion on "What we talk about when we talk about knowing things".

The record shows that he did have an unremarkable, ordinary academic career (unrelated to grievance studies) before trooning out, and he didn't start turning philosophical journals into his grievance blog until a couple years after transitioning.

A settlement is not "groundbreaking." Cases settle all the time and it establishes no precedent whatsoever.

Very classy behavior. On the other hand, I find it very hard to believe that any woman would be tricked by his masquerade and fall for him thinking he was female, because... it's blatantly obvious that he isn't. Maybe somebody would be fooled by a photoshopped image, but in the more "candid" images and videos, he totally looks and acts like a man with danger hair and make-up.

As for Amanda Jette Knox, she is the trans activist who claims she was always a lesbian but then just so happened to fall in love with a man who would then come out as trans and also has a son who is trans (I think he came out as trans before the husband). Rhys is in great company!
