Furries take PrEP they're all good. You're also asking them to make long-term decisions instead of getting a bareback train run on them at a con, which goes against their life goals.

It's interesting that furries don't really talk about STIs other than HIV. I guess they don't exist.

Oh Em Gee, the guy telling people “Oh it’s barely detectable and virtually un-transmittable!”

That is not fucking true. There are so many furries out there who are HIV-positive that tell people that. They just want to continue barebacking other furries, and it’s a straight up lie. If you’re HIV-positive, and you’re bare backing another person, then there is a risk that they can contract it. Aids and HIV medications only keep the virus in check and prevent it from progressing, it does not make it un-transmittable. It really never seizes to amaze me just how low furries will stoop.

The way furries share their sexual partners is cause for concern and that's just some observations from a murrsuit video archive, I guess it's really only the tip of the iceberg. I doubt some furries give two fucks about HIV after a few drinks and just can't wait to get laid.
 
a secret hope of mine is that someday a nightmarish new sti will be discovered at a furcon and that the scientists who name it give it an intentionally dumb furry name (murr-pes, pronounced like herpes?) and furries will never ever live it down

Some dude years ago made an FA journal asking for partners at a con; demanding a contract and verified doctor papers. He seems more and more woke the more I read about MFF.

Suiters really are a subcommunity at this point. It's not basement dwelling kids glorifying furcons and investing their current wealth into social acceptance; it's rubber doggy fuck-meetups but with a layer of fur. Now if only both the LGBT and furry communities could exile them all the same.

I honestly love how this machine was set up in what looks like someone’s backyard and not the basement or some room where the people outside wouldn’t be able to see it. Like, imagine the neighbors having a cookout. They’ve got the wiffle ball game ready, there’s burgers on the grill emitting a sweat, meaty aroma. Whenever I see shit like this and the amount of bullshit praise given by their followers, I get legitimately angry or upset. The fact that they just call everything transphobic this day bothers the hell out of me. It’s not invalidating them, it’s making fun of an extreme. Nothing is sacred. Otherwise you shouldn’t be making jokes and jabs at cis or straight people. It’s just really infuriating when you see that a convicted pedophile is there but nobody seems to have an issue (though that could be possibly because people don’t all know about this shit) is unnerving to say the least.

At this point, furries are just trying to purge their fandom if anyone who isn’t this one hive mind of false/biased acceptance no different than Tumblr. The thing is, and especially eight the new situations Tumblr finds itself in, more of these living miscarriages migrate to Twitter. The thing there is that they have more reach to the world outside the fandom, and we see them ruining things for everyone with examples like them bitching out at Cyberpunk 2077 over nothing.

Yeah, no shit. One of the artists that got signed to Psycopathic Records fairly recently sold some trans-positive merchandise and a bunch of juggalos flipped out. They're not exactly woke.

On the other hand, juggalos fucking hate pedophiles (Violent J shielding a pedophile was the reason a bunch of artists left Psychopathic and formed Majik Ninja or whatever it's called) but furries look the other way when a convicted pedophile shows up at a con, so I'm gonna side with the juggalos here.

That's the theme I've been noticing with the fandom in the last year or so, and also probably the reason the AltFurry crowd even had people joining in the first place. It's gone from "accept everyone who comes in and ignore the trolls" to "NO NO NO NOT THESE PEOPLE, THEY CAN'T BE FURRIES" and both mindsets are contradictory.

I didn't even notice people calling the attack helicopter joke transphobic until very recently (like, 2017-18ish) and even then the joke seemed to me like it was poking fun at otherkin instead like the "on all levels except physical I am a wolf" guy. Then again, troons are masters at overanalyzing something to be offended by it so why should that shock anyone?
