So I'm a bit behind and lost on the GDQ drama. What is Proto even mad about?
She thinks that GDQ is anti-trans by being politically neutral despite all other evidence that trans runners get tons of exposure. In reality she was shit at speed games and nobody liked her on screen so she cut ties probably realising she'd be replaced anyway.

Her pissy response to them changing their mind and banning Goose (which she wanted) is a product of that bitterness.

Maybe the reason each event has less women each year is because role playing troons like you who don't even try to pass have scared them off
More like they purposely avoid including biological women so they don't oppress the fragile transwomyn. The biological woman has become the real token diversity inclusion at GDQ at this point.

MysticMisty brings up a good point. The only cisgender girl speedrunng I know of is pidge, who runs Mario RPG. There are more transgender women speedrunng so than not, and afaik no transgender guy speedrunng so... Odd.

Real women are a threat to the trannies in GDQ hence why proto is being pushed by GDQ.

Real women would have way more followers and that would break tranny delusions.

I don't think it's that odd.

Since speedrunning is a pretty autistic hobby, it's naturally going to attract troons. Also, the more narcissistic ones want the attention that comes with being a "gamer girl" (too bad it doesn't work as well for greasy slobs who can't pass lol).

Thing is I don't get the impression many runners are autistic... Aside from maybe that dude who annoyed caveman during that infamous tomba 2 run.

A lot are down that spectrum, even the ones who seem capable have sometimes just trained themselves to present themselves better, which in its own way is very admirable.

What even is autism? A social disorder? Doesn't everyone have that to a degree?

Impression I get is some random psychiatrist made this up just so they can group every remotely eccentric person into one group for the sake of convenience.

Which is why people online use it as a joke insult. Well, I figure.

Until and if it's reclassified by science, trained professionals say that a spectrum exists. People on the less severe end can overcome it in a variety of ways and it barely needs to figure in their life beyond the diagnosis.

Given the similarities in behaviour between people on the severe end of the spectrum, it seems like a reasonable classification at the moment.

Looks like GDQ caved again (surprise). AGDQ has its own panel now solely dedicated to "queer gaming".
