I'm surprised he hasn't been shot. Surrey is the last place you want to go around spouting racist shit, especially about east Indians. He's probably one of the only 5 white guys in that town

I agree that one person should not represent the entirety of the group. However, transactivists (and, more generally, SJWs) are more than happy to condemn swathes of the population due to the actions of one person. One straight white man who does something bad represents all straight white men everywhere, for example. Or one TERF represents all non-trans women. So holding them to their own standards at least reveals the depth of their hypocrisy.

A few people, like Germaine Greer, have started to point these things out. But they immediately get labeled as hate-speech-spewing TERFs who should be deplatformed immediately. The moment anyone goes against the narrative, the REEEEEEEing is intense and, unfortunately, usually successful.

I know you were trying to state the obvious fact that truth is a defence to defamation and that applies in this case, but defamation falls under tort law, not criminal law. So no, it's not "criminal." Surprise: Morgane Oger has no idea what he's talking about there.

In Canada, something similar has happened. A biological man who self-identifies as a woman been calling beauty salons demanding a “Brazilian bikini wax”. When he was refused treatment – waxing male genitalia requires a different technique and supplies, besides the female beauticians might not feel entirely comfortable carrying out the procedure – he claimed discrimination on account of the fact that he is a “transwoman”. He filed 16complaints on this basis at the BC Human Rights Tribunal, citing discrimination on the basis of “gender identity”. But what of the rights of the woman asked to wax a man’s scrotum?

There's an article on feminist current that addresses things more directly. I honestly think the unherd article was mostly written before this, it has a lot of instances of hypocrisy that are from before the twitter suspension. It was published after a suspension but before she was permanently banned.

Her account was suspended on Friday. Twitter cited a tweet saying ‘Yeah it’s him’ as the reason, which referred to a man named Jonathan Yaniv, who had been making appointments with female beauticians in Vancouver, asking them to perform a ‘Brazilian’ bikini wax on him. In a nutshell, when the beauticians declined to effectively wax Yaniv’s balls, explaining that they only offered the service for women, Yaniv took the women (16 in total) to the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, in an attempt to sue them for thousands of dollars on account of ‘discrimination,’ claiming he was a woman. Yaniv has withdrawn at least one of the cases against the beauticians – and this month comments online were discovered in which Yaniv was musing about 10-year-old girls and tampon use.

In tweeting about this case, Murphy referred to Yaniv as ‘he’. For this, she has now lost her account, and with it, the potential to promote both her paid work, and her feminist activism on Twitter.

Recently it transpired that so-called ‘deadnaming’ – referring to a previous name of a trans person – is also banned.

So when some troon is suicidal or you see someone breaking into houses in your neighborhood, DON'T CALL THE COPS! And when a trans prostitute is murdered or a rape case goes unsolved forever, THE COPS ARE INCOMPETENT AND ONLY PROTECT THE CISHETEROPATRIARCHY! Don't trust pigs! If a trans person is a bad actor, talk to your friends about it, don't turn them in to the cops! Only white people call the cops!

But when some scumbag claims a trans identity so he can extort women and diddle kids, suddenly, the cops are perfect public servants who we're sure will apprehend the suspect and make sure he's tried and convicted in a court of law.
