It amuses me to no end that waterbrain thinks he's smarter than his doctors despite ending up in the hospital for noncompliance. TJ, when you're hospitalized for not taking your insulin, you're the one who's wrong. Not the doctors.
 
@Cowlick I'm going to make this simple, because then it's even funnier when you screw it up--

If you describe your intelligence to us, for example, if you describe your many hobbies, or list the multiple languages you speak, or provide examples of the numerous activities you enjoy .... and we fail to understand you... that's a sign that we aren't very bright.

On the other hand, if you refuse to discuss these things (After being the one to bring them up in the first place) that's a failure on your part, and a pretty clear sign to us that you're being less than honest about your intellectual credentials.

So by saying "you wouldn't understand", you are again indicating that you are the one who doesn't understand, and you've picked a terrible tactic to try and disguise that fact.

(I now await TJ's response, which will be paragraphs of nonsense that boil down to "no u")

@neural , as I have stated before, this thread would have stayed alive even if I had left. It will leave before I do, though, & can assure you all of that.

Oh, & seeing the quoted post, @Positron , I am not concerned about my intelligence nor cleverness. I could also care less what you think about me (those of you who are capable of thinking at all). I simply try to demonstrate those attributes, & do so largely because many members have asked for it. (On a side-note, can we stop my being notified what if anything people rate my posts?)

Teachers told me, my relatives, fellow teachers, & people who didn't even know me I was smart. People who know you likely told you the same thing, equally to make you feel better & because they knew you didn't know any better.

However, @neural , back to you specifically: What the hell is the meaning (not in this situation, but at all) of "hus entire motivation"?

Did it occur to you that maybe they told you that you’re smart to make you feel better? Lord knows no one has ever called you “nice” or “humble.”

Also, care to comment on being proven wrong about your claim that you never said that idiotic “elephants” line? I’m still not sure if you were trying to be clever or just took the idiom literally.

(At least, those of us who aren't dumb as hell know it.) This is also the reason you shouldn't guess when I have made a mistake or posted something incorrectly... Simply post what you are referring to ("...care less"), & I will tell you what I meant if it is anything other than what I posted.

A] I wrote it, so I clearly know it, & even if I didn't, your question proves it yet again.

B] My grasp of many things (including English, likely not including the anatomy of other males) exceeds yours, so don't waste time nor space referring to the rare times it is lacking.

C] My insults are fine, much like my grasp of English. It is the comprehension of yourself & many other members here that leads me to repeatedly keep both at lower levels.

2] @TenMilesWide , regardless of quality, it is one you were able to correctly comprehend.
